Hampton Inn & Suites Ridgeland

Second time staying here. The hotel is clean and neat, the bed in the room was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. I used digital check in and digital key so I didn’t interact with the staff much, but the one time I did she was very courteous and helpful. It’s also in a convenient location - close to the interstate but not too close where road noise is an issue. Overall good experience

The hotel is located in a very nice area with easy access to the interstate and eateries. The hotel was clean; however, the bathroom shower could have used a little additional scrubbing. My only complaint is that my credit card was authorized twice for my stay. I checked in on March 21st, $690.43 was authorized upon check in. When I checked my credit card balance online, I saw on March 24th my credit card was authorized again for $690.43. My check out was on Monday, March 25th. I asked the front desk clerk why they authorized my card so many times; per the front desk clerk the system automatically authorized on the 24th. An employee would have left a footprint in the system. Given there was no footprint it was a system authorization. I told her this was unacceptable and should not have happened. I was assured one of the $690.43 would fall off. As I walked away from the front desk without a true explanation, I heard the front desk clerk say to a fellow co-worker "I would be angry". Yes, I am highly frustrated because a second authorization for the exact same amount a day before I was to check out shouldn't have occurred. Hilton shouldn't have free reign to authorize your credit card after you check in whenever they feel like it. Oh, by the way the front desk clerk said an additional authorization occurred per their system on March 24th for $580 for which she could not provide an explanation. Really Hilton???

Was in MS on business. Nice property - easy to find. Incredibly friendly staff! Had me checked in quickly and efficiently. Room was clean and the bed/pillows were perfect. Fully stocked breakfast - did not have to wait for coffee to be made or pasties to be re-filled.

We travel extensively and found this hotel and its staff among the very best. Nice room and amazing staff. We have stayed at many hotels in the area as well as across the country. The staff, cleanliness and location cannot be beat.

Stayed here one night and was pleased. The room was clean and quiet, and the bathroom was nice and spacious…kudos to Hampton for placing a nightlight in the bathroom….it’s a small thing but a nice touch. The staff was friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast was good also. I didn’t use the pool area but it looked nice. Also the area around this hotel was nice and well kept, and also quiet. All in all a nice pleasant stay in a convenient location close to the interstate and close to a nice outdoor shopping mall.

Hampton Inn & Suites in Ridgeland MS. was a perfect place to stay overnight along our 14 hour trip. The beds were fairly comfortable (nothing beats your own bed), rooms were extremly clean, and the pool was nice. Breakfast was what you would expect from a hotel & complimentary at that. Ms. Joann was the real diamond at this location. She made us feel welcomed and like we were her own grandchildren. She sent us off with full stomachs and well wishes. True southern hospitality. This will forever be a halfway point stop on our way to the beach!!!

Stayed here on business trip from March 27th - - March 31st, 2023. Nice place overall. However, I was not acknowledged as a Diamond Member when I checked in and was not offered a Diamond gift package. Also, was not told that housekeeping was only offered by request when I checked in; found out later and when requested daily service, I only received it one day and it was just towels..bed not made/trash not emptied. In addition, treadmills were not working in fitness center. Finally, when I checked out about 5 AM, nobody was at front desk..had to call the hotel phone number to get somebody there…I think the front desk clerk was asleep in the back. I tried to check out on the app but that wasn’t working.

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Ridgeland location. Was in town to visit the state archives for research. This location was only a short drive. Very close to alot of food options at various pricing. Close to both Costoc and Sam's club for best gas pricing. Checked in on the app and room ready at the time I gave for arrival. I still stop by front desk for my gold status items ( gotta have my water). At check in the young lady was very nice and polite. Only ate breakfast one morning. The breakfast hostess both spoke when seeing me. One was placing fresh food out and offerred to give me some of these fresh items. The only minor things, wish a few more options like other locations and no plates, just bowls and to go plates. My room was clean and comfy. Was in 419 which facing the back of the hotel. Very quiet and while once in awhile would hear another guest going down the hall, nothing else. I come to Jackson at least twice a year to the archives and will book this location again for my fall stay

Always enjoy staying at this Hampton. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Near lots of places to eat and shop. Breakfast was your typical Hampton breakfast. We were disappointed in there were NO baggage carts! Not sure why this was an issue this stay. For elderly guest this issue needs to be dealt with. Please advise your quest to RETURN them to the lobby after unloading. Hope to be staying here again on our next visit to the area.
