The hotel is located in a very nice area with easy access to the interstate and eateries. The hotel was clean; however, the bathroom shower could have used a little additional scrubbing. My only complaint is that my credit card was authorized twice for my stay. I checked in on March 21st, $690.43 was authorized upon check in. When I checked my credit card balance online, I saw on March 24th my credit card was authorized again for $690.43. My check out was on Monday, March 25th. I asked the front desk clerk why they authorized my card so many times; per the front desk clerk the system automatically authorized on the 24th. An employee would have left a footprint in the system. Given there was no footprint it was a system authorization. I told her this was unacceptable and should not have happened. I was assured one of the $690.43 would fall off. As I walked away from the front desk without a true explanation, I heard the front desk clerk say to a fellow co-worker "I would be angry". Yes, I am highly frustrated because a second authorization for the exact same amount a day before I was to check out shouldn't have occurred. Hilton shouldn't have free reign to authorize your credit card after you check in whenever they feel like it. Oh, by the way the front desk clerk said an additional authorization occurred per their system on March 24th for $580 for which she could not provide an explanation. Really Hilton???
