Overall ok

Very comfortable stay in this little hotel. The room was very clean. Great WiFi and a good smart TV which is pretty important if you have had a busy day. The shower/bathroom was very clean and the towels were of good quality. As I stayed over at the weekend, there was some notable music at the weekend due to the busy pub garden over the road. However, it wasn't a problem and stopped at a decent hour. The management were not really visible but would be if you needed anything. I will return. Great location..8 minute walk into town if you fancy a breakfast or a stroll. I'm not sure if this hotel provides breakfast. I didn't require it and wasn't offered? So if you think of staying and would like a bite to eat in the morning then double check.

Budget hotel : must be rated as such. Rooms basic but fine enough for the money. Small single room - not as plush as the pictures suggest. Walls a bit thin so you can hear people moving about etc. I thought clean enough but basic and the staff person I met was helpful but there are not many staff in attendance.

No towels in room, door fell off bathroom cabinet, funny smell in room, really tired decor with some mould starting in corners needs a really good clean . Right opposite noisy pub, above fast food restaurant this really is just a place to get your head down if there’s nowhere else - really high bed with clean linen & smart tv with Wi-Fi and nice welcome but the good things don’t get it above 1 star ..

This is a horrible hotel with such rude staff they made us feel uncomfortable constantly rolling their eyes and acting as if we were in their way, the place was dirty damp and mouldy and not worth staying in, personal opinion theres nothing worth here keeping this hotel up, what a waste of a building!

We stayed here is my wife’s parents are now in an old folks home very near to the hotel. We stayed in one of the double rooms, which is true to the photos you see on this site. The room and bathroom are both done out very well and this place is great for a stay of a few nights. The bed is comfortable, although quite a high to get into, double wardrobe with hanging space and plenty of tea and coffee with the kettle etc. A major selling point is Ali, who is a family member of the hotel owners. He could not have been more helpful. Unfortunately, I have to use a walking stick and Ali would not hear of us carrying our cases up or down the stairs, even coming out to the car park to collect things for us. As we live in Spain, we will be using this place every time we return to the UK to visit my wife’s parents.

Booked in for 1 night and after sorting out the booking misunderstanding I had a very enjoyable stay. The Hotel is spotless and the staff are very polite and helpful,would definitely stay there again and would recommend this Hotel.

The room was clean, large and spacious. They upgraded me free of charge. The owner is courteous and lovely and willing to meet your requests. Honestly, dont stay anywhere else if you need to come to the area. This is my second time and i would never stay anywhere else. The hotel is close to restaurants and amenities, has parking out the back which is free, has 24h entry with a key fob. The shower is amazing, TV massive with many channels and desk provided for working at. Absolutely awesome!!

What an awful hotel. Booked weeks and weeks ago as we were travelling for a family funeral on 1st April. Got a message 4 days before to say they could no longer accommodate our booking and requested I cancel. Have gone on to cancel today and had to ask for the fee to be waived as they were going to charge us the full cost (we didn’t cancel they did!) So fast forward to the booking being cancelled and I’ve gone back on to have a look out of interest to see if we could get an explanation as to why they cancelled us at such short notice to see that the rooms are back up for the exact same dates but at twice the price. Absolutely shocking! I messaged after receiving the first email i had requesting that I cancel the booking because they could, “no longer fulfil it” and explained that it was a funeral we were travelling for, to which the reply was they were very sorry but the cancellation was due to “unexpected circumstances”. TOTAL LIES So to put it plainly, they’ve cancelled our booking purely to charge more for the room. LOST FOR WORDS.
