Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch

I took my 26ft RV here to stay two nights in their campground. The property is very large & quite beautiful. I loved how remote and quiet the place was. I stayed in spot #10. Although it wasn't level, it was a great spot! It was woody and beautiful. There are nice hiking trails and a pretty river close by. We saw a lot of beavers running around & also saw their handycrafts in the river :-) We ate both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant near the lodge. It is an easy 15 minute walk from the campground to the restaurant/main area. The food was good and the service was outstanding! The road to get to the resort from Red Feather Lakes is dirt, but it is fairly well maintained. We had no problems in our RV navigating the route.

Another great meal on the mountain - The place was busy and the live music just finished up. I got the Mahi tacos and the full rack of ribs to go. Again, awesome. The staff was great, the location can't be beat. Something neat to see at Beaver meadows is the Marmots. Normally they are a very shy and hard to observe critter. The marmots have become comfortable and bask in the sun until visiting dogs force them to retreat. What neat place to see some wild life, get a meal and relax in a forest setting.

We ordered 2 burgers and a margarita The food - both orders were perfect. The buns were toasted sesame seed (very nice) vs standard bun. We ordered burger one medium and one medium well we both were satisfied. I got sweet potato fries and my buddy got regular fries both great. My partner comment that for 15$ there should be a side salad or mini side to go with the meal but we were both happy with the burgers and fries. The service - Again, the food came out pretty quick and the $10 margarita was pricey but tasted good. At that price I would only get one, but if the price was 7ish I would of had 2. Good Marg, well made, good balance and defiantly had Tequila in it. Hornitos Tequila was available for the marg - there were more options but I stopped there. The location - Dog friendly on the outside patio- We ate on the patio again with our big dog who dinned along with another dog(new puppy). Once they met it was all good. The policy of well behaved dogs being allowed on the patio is awesome(duke thanks you for the water bowl every time). Only glitch - I asked for Mustard and Ketchup with the burgers and found that they had 12+ bottles of ketchup but no mustard. Its a simple condiment offered with most burgers across the country, so I expected that they would have it. New management just took over the Beave, so they surely will have things like this ironed out in the future. It was great to get a burger and margarita and sit and gaze at the meadows. This was a 5 star meal except for the missing mustard. I will order it again and bring my own mustard( I will bet they will have small things like this nailed down near future and you can leave your mustard at home). There are less than half a dozen places on the mountain to get food and drinks ...... and it is Sooooooooooo nice to have a dependable option for dinner and a drink. The bill - 2*14.95$ for burgers 10$ marg %15 tip and taxes- another good meal at the Beave

Went up to the ranch after the large blizzard this last week and it was amazing!!! The staff was quick to get the tubing hills groomed and opened for the day. The kids had so much fun!! The restaurant was delicious for all the meals. Staff all around were friendly and extremely helpful. Cannot wait to go back!!!

How have we lived in CO for so long and never heard of this place? What a hidden gem. Hate to let others know about it cause it may be overrun, but what a great place to spend a winter's day and not have to endure the I-70 nightmare.

We LOVE Beaver Meadows snow tubing and it’s not just the runs but the people who work there are the best! They’re so wonderful and make your experience fun! It’s such a wonderful place to get away to and be in nature. Highly recommend!

We had a great time! And helpful employees! Not much reception for phone use but they do have free WiFi! The restaurant was very good as well. We will be out there again with our family. Our kids loved the tubing mountain and we even saw a moose on your walk on one of the trails.

My family wanted a quick family get away without the hassle of Denver or 1-70! We were not disappointed. The property just completed a full renovation, and we were not disappointed! We booked the 1 bedroom condo with the pull out couch, and it was perfect for our family of 4. We were able to check out from the everyday rush, and just enjoy family time. The kids loved the tubing, ice fishing, and the bonfire. The food in the restaurant was amazing, and the condo offered a full kitchen for us as well. We will be back now that we have found this hidden gem with an easy drive!

Had a marvelous time at the ranch. I understand it had gone through a big ownership change and I can see the huge difference from last winter to this winter. The rooms were completely redone and the food at the restaurant was outstanding (make sure you try the Bison meatloaf, this was our families favorite). We also got a chance to do some hiking and lots of tubing (a must for everyone). Cannot wait to go back in a couple of months to check out the summertime fun in the Rockies.
