Hampton Inn Raynham-Taunton

Great stay at this hotel! All of the staff were so polite and friendly. Hotel room was clean and spacious.

The hotel is very nice and front desk are great ,breakfast not as good as before cutting back it seems and rooms are starting to weather , Don't like the TIP JAR at the breakfast area that's very tacky if you want get a card like housekeeping just as long as its HILTON approved

This trip was important to my family and I wanted to make sure things were as good as they could be! Not only was the hotel staff incredibly friendly and accommodating, but the place was immaculate. SO clean, so welcoming. The pool was a lifesaver for me/my kids, they enjoyed it so much. Breakfast, staff, everything was wonderful. We were so so happy to stay there and so sad to leave. What a great team they have there!

I don't think I have ever written a review for a hotel before, but here's why I am writing one now. So, I have probably stayed in over 100 hotels over the years for work, etc. I stayed here for a week while in town for work. I can honestly say that the customer service at this place was awesome. Like I haven't seen for years. Jason the manager was super engaging and responsive, as was the rest of the staff. Yes, the pillows were not the best. Show me a hotel that has great pillows. But I did not see any signs of bugs, the rooms and linens were clean, and the hotel was well maintained.

My door handle was broken and I had to go to front desk 3 times before they helped me. Also, did not sleep because smoke alarm chirped all night. I reached out to Front Desk manager Mandy R. the next morning, but she did not reply to my email. I am a long time loyal Hilton customer and would expect more from management.

Hotel is convenient to major roads. Room was large for the cost category and Super clean with no odors in room or common area. Parking was plentiful even on the busy Adolescent Sports Teams weekend. The review would have been a 5 star, but the larger groups (Parents) did little to keep a restful environment for those staying without family. The Hotel staff shouldn’t need to Watch others family members. Every member of the Staff was professional and friendly. They were helpful and polite. Thank you for a pleasant, comfortable stay. I would recommend this Hotel.

There were bugs in the room and there was urine smell in one of the elevators. Also, the bread served at the breakfast seemed old and not fresh. It was too dry that made me think that the hotel is using old expired bread. The Manager at this hotel in not doing her job. It is a very high concern. Also as a diamond member, I never received any water bottles or snacks at check-in. This makes me think either Hilton is providing falsified information regarding diamond members' benefits or the hotel does not know what "diamond" status is. Also one the lights in the room was flashing like a strobe light. Had to call front desk to have it fixed. Overall the Manager at this property is not doing her job and getting paid for nothing.

We have stayed here before and considered it again this year for a lacrosse tournament, along with many other options including another Hampton inn with slightly lower reviews. Ultimately, we decided on this one, despite the slightly higher price and being a bit further away, due to the continued strong reviews, our previous experience, and the pool. With two kids, as a solo dad, I was counting on the pool being open. It was billed as a selling point on the website. No mention that it was under a two week closure when I booked the room, no heads up between booking and arrival, either. You can’t do this to guests. An emergency is one thing. Closing a pool that you advertised to get a booking, and knowing about it before your guests arrive, yet not alerting them, is unacceptable. We would have stayed elsewhere and so would have other guests. Knowing this and hiding it is unethical at the very least. I can’t recommend this place, won’t stay here again, and am really soured on the Hilton brand.

Stayed 1 night with my wife attending a concert in New Bedford, MA. The location is great, right off the highway with plenty of gas stations, restaurants and shopping around. If you're doing anything in the south coast, fall river area, this is a nice halfway point between there and Boston. Definitely no frills as you would expect with Hampton Inn but overall a solid, comfortable room. Check in: Uneventful, friendly staff. Only minor thing was I was acknowledged as a diamond member, but despite the display on the counter with free snacks for gold and diamond members I had to ask for the snacks where I figured the guy at the counter would offer them to me. Although I went back a second time because my wife wanted the sweet potato chips and they happily gave me a bag no charge, which while a small gesture was very nice. Room: Overall clean and comfortable. Shower was a little tight but water pressure good and water was hot. Had to to plug the mini fridge in (which was fine but I wish they would have told me that at check in instead of putting our waters in and an hour later wondering why they weren't cold). Sleep Quality: If you can call them complaints, it was relatively minor but I can see others getting a little more irritated. 1. The room was maybe a shade chilly, but despite jacking the temperature up to 72, it never seem to get a whole lot warmer, despite the fan running. 2. It is right off a major artery and despite it's convenient location, if your room is facing that road (which ours was), you will hear large trucks driving through, as I was woken by one, but fortunately it was short lived and not in the middle of the night. Next time I think this can bee easily mitigated by asking for a room facing away from the road. We didn't try the breakfast as we went into Boston on our way home for breakfast but it looked decent/average with a passing glance. Overall, if I needed a place to stay in that area again, I would stay here for a night or two. You have to know what you're getting with a Hampton Inn but it's safe, comfortable, accessible, and relatively quiet.
