Mariandy Hotel

Far from the city, very quiet and clean. The hotel is not big and the facilities are relatively old, but it is very comfortable. The service staff are very friendly. Nice breakfast, too.

Better late than never to review stayed here in september 2022 lovely little hotel staff very friendly rooms were emaculately clean food was very good we had brekky and dinner we stayed here as our daughter lived here in dekahlia .Hotel wasn't that far from her staff even let out granddaughter come and stay for a night which she loved especially the pool they had a nice little bar in the hotel nick with his multi tasking manned the bar well done we are thinking returning soon so nick if you still have our number send us a message thanks again for a lovely stay Wayne and Coral Buckley

Our stay in Mariandy hotel was kind of okay. The breakfast was tasty - normal, pool was okay. Rooms kind of old school but really clean. I think that smiling stuff there were the main atmosphere creators and made our stay there better. Recomended for friends stay more than family, couple of business.

1 Georgina the Romanian Gypsy who treated without any respect. Giving me an old mold bread in the box for early breakfast. I got my money back because her and all the kitchen, cleaning crew was speaking in Romanian and insulting me so I recorded bad send to hotels.ca There was not swimming pool. Mattress with bed bugs. It is a disgusting miserable people including her supervisor who never show his face to apologize for what this Gypsy did. PLEASE read reviews before you book this creepy filthy hotel. Only the Greek fellow is the one who kept courtesy and manners in this filthy place

If you want an enjoyable and restful holiday DO NOT stay here. Hotel staff are rude and have no communication skills whatsoever, the hotel has odd policies and you will not experience an enjoyable time. Here are below issues further explained: 1. Hotel staff are rude - receptionist Gina who cannot communicate effectively or with any humanity or respect to guests, instead she shouts and is condescending. She insulted us racially too. Other receptionists were not helpful and we were fobbed off each time we simply asked for another towel or bedsheet. 2. Hotel policy - only replacing towels every 3 days and having to chase to get this. They charge you extra for further towels and do not let you use towels on the day of check out. Cleaners wake you up sharp in the morning each day either by knocking on your room door as they do not have a sign for whether you need service or through closing and opening of nearby doors. 3. Room quality - you can hear other rooms very easily - doors slamming through the morning and night, shouting, throwing up. We had noisy neighbours and the hotel staff refused to accommodate us elsewhere. Please read the other reviews on Trust pilot - all the same problems of poor customer service and basic standards of an EU hotel. Very disappointed, will not be returning or recommending to anyone. Please do not waste your money and time here, there are much better hotels nearby which are worth the slight price difference.

Never ever go this place!! It the worth service you will ever get. The owner and Manger are ugly, the breakfast is terrible and not fresh. They don't really clean, I was,2 weeks in this ugly place , after they get Arabs customer that shout on 6:00 Am and wake me up. The Manger didn't help!!! But charging me extra for a towel that was dirty instead of make a laundry and Gove me a new one. Sisscusting people very low level of hotel, low management, low food, low atmosphere. I Never ever again go to this terrible place .!! Don't go there. It's not worth money. ! Trust me.

The room service is bad and the receptionist is rude. They change the towels and clean the room after 3 days. The hotel is old and needs to be renovated. The breakfast is acceptable but does not include the Cypriot halloumi. It is not recommended.

We stayed here 2 nights, very nice people working there, good room with balcony, air conditioning, hot water, comfortable bed, nice pool area, breakfast buffé that was delicious, close to the beach 🏖

1. Very rude staff. I happened to ask for a mug from Gina, a Russian lady, and she refused blatantly. I tried to explain that I only get one coffee a day but she wouldn't help. She shouted at me and stated that cameras are watching her and that if she gives me a mug she will lose her job. 2. Questionable work ethics When I said to a tall, dark-hair lady (she was probably the manager but I'm not sure) I'll post a bad review about my experience with Gina and the mug, she said, ''Go on, nothing new''. And when I said to her (probably the manager) that the customer is always right in hospitality and that they need to do some customer service training, she laughed at me. 3. Uneccessary and suspicious charges They wanted to charge me 2 euros/day for a fridge to be put in my room. They said it was mentioned on their website but it wasn't when I booked. 4. I asked for pure butter in the morning and all they had was margarine. When I said this is not butter, she pointed out to the product's packaging label ''buttery''. I said that this is the name of the product, it's not butter. (She didn't even know the language). 5. The legendary Cypriot hospitality is absent. Staff were foreigners and treated people coldly. I didn't get any warmth from them but only cold treatment and unwillingness to help. I must admit, however, the night staff were friendly (a Cypriot barman and a Romanian lady). 6. If you want true Cypriot hospitality, DO NOT GO to this hotel.
