Duck Lodge B&B with Hot Tub

We had a fantastic stay at Duck Lodge, Keith was a great host who was very attentive and provided some great recommendations. The lodge itself is really modern and clean and has plenty of lovely touches. We would particularly recommend the walk to the shepherd & dog via the devils dyke! You have to stay here!!! This place in just incredible. Keith the host is just so helpful and so friendly, communication was speedy and any question we had he not only had the answer but also helped us out with every solution. The hot tub was super warm and was so much fun its a great addition to the stay. The the lodge at the bottom of the garden feels so private and there is not a single detail that has been missed!! The bed was comfy, the temperature was thought of, there were two tv's, sky, sonos speakers for music, games, candles, guest book, coffee machine and soooo much more!! Honestly the details are all there and brilliant. Breakfast was delicious and I felt like I could have been in a fancy little cafe.

Amazing lodge! Beautifully furnished and cosy, the bed is very comfy. There is a coffee machine, Sky Tv and Netflix’s and to top it off an amazing Hot Tube!! Thank you very much for being great hosts, the breakfast was superb! This is a perfect place to stay for any occasion I highly recommend you give it a try!

Keith at Duck Lodge has clearly spared no expense and everything is well thought out. From the big things, like the beautiful garden, Secret Garden-esque path to the lodge, and the gorgeous lodge itself, right down to the bathrobes, guide books and adorable duck themed accessories - Duck Lodge is definitely run by someone who cares. The great thing as well is, Keith can offer you local knowledge, like the best bus to catch to avoid traffic and where to find lovely walks. It was an absolute pleasure to stay and we will return!

We stayed in Pyecombe for a wedding at a nearby venue, and Duck Lodge was everything we needed! Keith goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, whether that’s local recommendations or extra fruit with breakfast. The lodge itself is a perfect base, very private and quiet with all the amenities you’d need and more. Everything has been done to a really high standard and you can tell the owners take pride in it, and rightly so! Thanks for a lovely stay! If we’re in the area again we’ll 100% be back!

Duck Lodge is a perfect distance from Brighton if you have a car (about 15 mins). We were made to feel very welcome throughout the stay and very much enjoyed a peaceful getaway. The garden is beautiful. Views from the hottub are stunning. The lodge itself is tucked away at the end of the garden private and pretty. Fairy lights, candles, cozy blankets, fluffy pillows, sound system, tv, fancy soaps. It was all thoroughly thought out with detail and care. Its was clean and smelt fantastic. The breakfast was a lovely touch and Keith was very accommodating. He has great knowledge of the area and recommended a great local walk. We decided not to leave to go for dinner in the evening so as to make the most of the beautiful accommodation. The local chinese was brilliant. Highly recommend this stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Duck Lodge. The cabin is tastefully styled and is kitted out with high quality appliances which adds to the luxury feel. The bed was so comfortable and the cabin was kept at a consistent temperature of our choice by a very accommodating Keith. We loved the private patio and the access to the hot tub. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We can't wait to return!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Duck Lodge. The photos do not do the place justice. Keith is an incredibly thoughtful host and has put loads of love into this place. A super cute lodge with all the comforts of a fancy hotel. We sipped champagne in the hot tub and then spent the evening watching movies with the benefit of sonos speakers, after a quick trip to the local pub. Particularly well located for walking the South Downs Way as we were. Highly highly recommend!
