Hotel Pushkar Palace

Amazing location. Its a heritage property hence the ambience was amazing. Food was good. Staff was also polite. Highly recommend this property for staying in pushkar

Excellent location, excellent good. We had a wonderful stay. I would have given it 5 stars but it falls just for a few things: 1. We booked two rooms, but just one room was provided with water and telling them to provide more water got no results. The entire hotel staff showed up at the departure time expecting tips. The fridges in both the rooms were not cooling and were replaced soon but such things should be checked in advance. Overall I do recommend this hotel. You will be greeted with a smile and stay at the very best location right at the lake. Must eat at their open-air restaurant as the food and view are both amazing... I read in a review that the temple sounds will disturb the guests, but I did not experience that at all. What did disturb my early morning sleep was the staff talking loudly right outside my window...

Amazingly located right on the lake. Unbearable atmosphere and lovely old-world heritage style and feel. Feels like 4 star.

What a great hotel in a perfect location in the middle of Pushkar. Well priced and really nice heritage rooms. Fantastic service all round from the quick check in, to the restaurant and room cleaning. A short walk to all the market shops and restaurants with the bustle of a true Indian bazaar. The views from the hotel terraces in front of the rooms are great looking across the lake. The new lower terrace in front of the restaurant also had beautiful tables and sun galore. It’s also very pretty at night. The recent upgrades since our last visit have made this an even better place to stay.

It’s a no-BS heritage hotel with basic facilities and an awesome location. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We booked the top category room and didn’t regret. The only disappointment was the loud AC which would make sleeping difficult. The hotel should invest on new ACs and heaters to attract more guests and better reviews. The breakfast is average too. Very basic food and no variety. Please improvise on that.

Comfortable room. Breakfast and dinner adequate. Massage at the spa was disappointing and overpriced. Good location, able to walk to the market at night. Cold at night and no extra blanket, had to fold the doona in half. I don't know if the airconditioner was reverse cycle as there were wires hanging out of it so didn't turn it on.

Good property and very courteous staff, excellent service level. The location of the property offers the best view of the pushkar lake.

We were Booked into the PP for 2 nights as part of a tailor made tour of India. The location is great but that is all this hotel has going for it. Initially given a standard room which was badly in need of an refurbishment. We complained and we were upgraded to the Maharaja Suite. The suite is exactly the same as a standard room just larger floor area. The room was very shabby and not very clean. The curtains are just old as was the frills around the four poster bed. The room itself badly needs to be refurbished. Now I get the meaning of’ traditional “ in describing the room but this was not traditional, basic would of been a compliment. it was dark, not clean, shabby. The pillows were covered in sweat stains. The air con unit was filthy. Hadn’t been cleaned in years. The bathroom was the worst. Dirty tiles and bathroom, toilet seat was stained. The cup holder supposedly to put your toothbrush in was gross. God knows why filthy sponges are provided for guests to use. The bin was the rightful place for them. I could go on but I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves. Tried to check out the very day we arrived as there was no way we were going to sleep in the room. Unfortunately due to 28 weddings being held in the village every hotel was booked. Had a horrible experience having to sleep in the room for the night. Checked out first thing in the morning and moved to the Westin Hotel. If the PP is classed as one of the best hotels in Pushkar, I dread to think what the worst would be like. Horrible horrible place.

This is an amazing hotel with opulent antique decor, a gorgeous four poster bed (you need a step to climb up on it, well, I did as I’m short) a large bathroom, tea/coffee facilities and a safe. Plus a gorgeous armoire I’d love to keep. The key locks, very old fashioned just added to its charm. The gardens and pool area was gorgeous too. Plus we had a really nice fellow selling great souvenirs and jewellery out front early in the morning and late in the afternoons. Not pushy either. The meals in the dining room were delicious too. Thankyou for making our stay in Pushkar so special.
