pretty bad hotel! i was surprised with delta stay vacation reviews saying it is wonderful. the lady at the front desk is very nice though. and the hotel had packages for tours. but the other hotels had their own tour packages too. -BLOOD stain on bed sheet -dead bug on curtains -room is too tight. i have no where to walk without tripping with our luggages -hallway is too tight -room is cold -we were not comfortable -i finally found other reviews. one said he even went inside the room and there was no bed! i can believe it! we went searching for other hotels close by and closer to the plaza. all were much nicer than kaaro hotel. these hotels even let us go inside and look at their rooms: Hotel Hacienda plaza de armas is nice Casona Plaza Centro is nice Tierra Viva Puno is also nice

Me and my partner had a delightful stay here with a very nice breakfast.. we also enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee available throughout the day. The staff was very helpful and kind and more than happy to help with any queries we had

Absolutely amazing stay. Staff were wonderful, early check-in allowed and helped us organise a tour to the Floating Islands in the afternoon. Room was quiet, spacious and had hot water. Great location close to the main street with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

Great stay here, we arrived not so fresh off the night bus but the staff at Kaaro were super helpful - we managed to check in early and for 10 soles we were able to have the breakfast that morning too. They also helped us arrange our tour of the Uros Islanda. The room is comfortable and has a great hot shower! Recommend staying here if you’re passing through Puno!

The Kaaro hotel Puno was an excellent stay, so reasonably priced with excellent staff, delicious bread for breakfast and incredibly comfortable rooms - would stay again 😊 Short walk from the central plaza made finding great food super easy!

We stayed at Hotel Puno for 2 nights and couldn't recommend it highly enough for travellers that are on a budget. We arrived at 5am on the first morning and we were checked in efficiently to allow us to get as much sleep before checkout - which was slightly extended to maximise our amount of sleep. The hotel is in a great location, right next to the Puno Cathedral and the city's plazas. Rooms are neat and tidy and the shower has hot water! We booked a tour around Lake Titicaca through the hotel - it was extremely reasonably priced and very well organised. We had a night bus at 10pm after checking out in the morning and the staff were extremely accommodating, they allowed us to access the storage cupboard throughout the day and recommended that we chill in their living areas when required. One of our members even forgot some personal items at the hotel which the staff helped return to him in Cusco.

Such a nice place for a budget room. The people at the reception were amazing, always there to help you. The breakfast was good and delicious and the room is big. It’s not cold, they gave me an electric stove. Highly recommended for the cold winter
