We attempted to increase our reservation from 4 to 6 people on a Monday night. Yes, it was the last night of restaurant week, but the restaurant was still not full upon arrival. I first told there was not space available as guests with reservations at 7PM, our time as well, usually stay until 11PM. That was definitely not the case. I have been home since 9:30 PM and we were one of the last tables to depart the restaurant. I got a call back saying there was space for 6, but for every person that was a no show, there would a $35 USD cancellation fee. That is outrageous! This is low season, not Christmas/New Years week. Our waiter requested we pay cash pesos for the tip and we obliged. He then proceeded to count the tip at the table in front of us. Would he have complained if it was not to his liking? It's very unfortunate as the food and abienance were terrific, but the operational management of the restaurant was a disaster. This was my first visit and I am sad to say I will not return. There are too many great restaurants in PV that actually appreciate the customers that will keep me from returning. Get a clue and DO BETTER!
