Hampton Inn & Suites Prattville

Started before checking in by getting a phone call with the front desk lady saying “I understand my manager has been talking to you about checking in…” I in fact had talked to no one about checking in. Then the lady proceeds to tell me they’ve ran my credit card three different times and it’s not working- unauthorized runs bc my credit card company then calls to tell me my card has been ran for 3 different amounts, all more then what my reservation states. The front desk lady was rude and not helpful in explaining why this had happened. When arriving she had different reasons why my credit card was ran three times for three different amounts. Room was smelly. Air didn’t cool the room. The air rattled all night. Pillows weren’t comfortable nor was there enough pillows.Hotel is outdated. Will not be staying here.

Clean but tired. Ne cord only charging apps in the room. Sheets were thin and worn. And yet the room was clean and quiet. Hallways are dated. Not overly impressed but not dismayed. Hampton inn has definitely gone downhill. Good location. Just needs refreshed

As I write this my wife and I are on day 6 of a 7 day road trip through the south east and our stay here was the best so far. Friendly desk staff, nice pool (get towels at the front desk) and the gym was small with older equipment but I still got my 30 minutes in. Breakfast was a nice spread typical of these hotels with plenty of tables and chairs. Room was clean, large, comfy pillows and bed spread, flat screen and fridge and ice cold a/c.

Clean and comfortable stay in the heart of Prattville. The staff was kind and friendly. The location was great because there were a lot of shops and restaurants in the area. They also had a great breakfast with a variety of food. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a very good Hampton Inn with all the qualities you are seeking while traveling. The Front Desk was happy to see us walk in and more than willing to help or assist. The lobby and adjoining areas were bright and clean. Elevator and hallways were clean and smelled good. Our room was excellent, ultra clean, smelled great and A/C worked flawlessly. Our bathroom was sparkling and all the amenities were full and available. Morning breakfast was excellent with all items filled, available and hot. The area was clean and all the tables in the breakfast area were kept cleared and clean. Great atmosphere. The server did an excellent job. We found all the staff members (front desk, housekeeping who we met in the hall and breakfast server) friendly, willing to assist and professional. I mention all of this in detail as we found it difficult to find a Hampton with good ratings as we traveled south down I65 in AL. THIS Hampton is a great one which we recommend without reservation!! Don't hesitate to stay here and put it on your favorites in your AL travels.

This is a typical Hampton, but the management is obviously doing a great job. The room and hotel were very clean and everything was in working condition, including the gym equipment and business center computers/printer. The hallway carpet and paint scheme were very welcoming. I also loved the old town USA feeling, the very nice staff, and the rural view from the room window. This hotel also has a nice outside pool. I think that adding a seating area with a fire pit near the pool will add so much.I would have loved to sit outside, but after the pool area closes you cannot sit outside.

We stopped here for the night after a long day of travel. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the morning breakfast which had many options. The dining area was clean and welcoming.

The hotel was very clean and neat. Check in with quick and efficient. The rooms were spotless, and the towels were abundant and clean. Breakfast was very good. They were many hot items, as well as breads, cereals, oatmeal, and waffles. Yolanda, at the front desk, went to quite a bit of extra effort to check the local Publix to find out if they had dry ice. Her customer service skills are excellent. We will stay here again if we are ever in the area.

This hotel is convenient as it is right off the highway, but could use some serious cleaning and updates. The lobby isn’t as bad as the individual rooms. The walls, doors and overall room atmosphere was one of dirty, overly-used amenities with little attention to detail. We were fearful of touching the doors and walls after we observed fingerprints, dirt and marks on them. The toilet is very low, and the shower area was old and dingy. The breakfast was standard Hampton fare, but how a hotel can have no non-dairy creamer options in today’s world of allergies and sensitivities to foods is beyond me. My husband cannot have dairy and was sho Jed to learn when he asked they only had full dairy creamer or milk as options. This is one of the first times at Hampton that we’ve had that experience. You can walk to nearby restaurants without having to get back in the car which was a nice option. Finally, as Diamond members we should not have to ask for the extra benefits….it should automatically be recognized, noted by the clerk, and offered. That did not happen in this location. Overall this is a decent option if you’re traveling thru for only one night, but nothing longer than that.
