To say this resort is one of the best is an understatement. The resort is beautiful, the people are friendly & very accommodating, the water is crystal clear for swimming & snorkeling. The food is lovely & the kids activities & massage are the best.

Where do I start - this was my second time visiting Erakor Island Resort and won't be my last time...This time we stayed with a large group of family (19 in total) for 7 days. The resort is equiped with everything you would need to do everything or nothing at all. But most of all the best part of the island is undoubtably the people. Their smiling faces and willingness to go out of their way to help make your stay enjoyable makes it very hard to say goodbye. The girls (Lita, Natalie and Aunty Sarah) in the Tour Hut offer knowledgable suggestions for mainland tours etc, and Frazer is always fun. They also helped us plan a surprise birthday party for my husband and was beautifully set up by Alice. Breakfast always included a smile and flower from Annie, Fay and Johanna just to name a few. A great place to stay for families, couples and everything inbetween. Special thanks to Cherie for helping organise such a big group too.

Erakor was an absolutely stunning place to stay in the tropical paradise of Vanuatu. The staff were so accommodating for our big family group, and were able to arrange activities/mainland transfers easily. The food was great, especially the lunch menu. The highlight of the trip for me was the Melanesian feast night, as I enjoyed learning more about Vanuatu history and culture. I’d love to come back soon!

This resort is like a dream. Private accommodation. Postcard views in every direction. You are not just treated as a number. Annie looked after us breakfast for us every morning and would put a flower in my hair. She made it her business to make everyone feel special. Every staff member is kind and welcoming. Every bungalow has an amazing view and you can step out of your room and snorkel, seeing beautiful tropical fish. The food was prepared nicely and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere without being pretentious. If you want to go back to the mainland, a boat will take you at any time. There is nothing we would have changed about this holiday. Thank you for making our 20th wedding anniversary special.

We really enjoyed our stay at Erakor. We stayed in a Beachfront Villa, the room was large, it had 2 King size beds, wardrobe with safe inside, tv, air conditioning and ceiling fans. The bathroom was large, there is plenty of space on vanity (which has double sinks) to put your toiletries. The shower is large but the hand held shower head moves when put on wall bracket and it’s easy to bump the tap which kept turning down pressure and changing temperature, this does need improvement. There is an outside balcony with deck that has a large day bed and a table with 4 chairs and a clothes airer to dry your bathers etc. The ocean is right there, beautiful outlook. Swimming in ocean was not great due to tides, coral and seaweed. On other side of island there is soo many starfish, I didn’t like trying to avoid them to swim. There is a large outdoor pool which we swam in. The best part is the friendly helpful staff and great food at very reasonable prices, cheaper than we found at most restaurants in Port Vila. We stayed 2 nights, another 1 or 2 nights I think would be enough, it’s about relaxing 😎. There is kayaks, darts, outdoor chess, kids club & playground. The stafff make it extra special 🥰

We stayed on Erakor for 10 days and had a wonderful holiday. If you are looking for something different to the big hotel chains with a quiet island vibe then you must consider Erakor. The island is a little quirky, but this is part of its appeal. There is plenty to do on the island but it is also very close to town if you want to explore other local sights. The staff are all super friendly and you will find it hard to say goodbye to them when you leave. We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant most days and there was plenty of choice. Snorkelling and watersports are well catered for (don't forget to bring reef shoes) and there is a lovely pool if the tide is out. Plenty of tours and activities that can be arranged from the island without an extra fee. Don't miss their pizza and movies night ......best pizza I have had anywhere!!!!

To stay here is to have a holiday your way. This resort covers all bases. If you are a solo traveller, a couple looking to have a relaxing adult holiday, a family with young or older children they cater for everyone. It also allows you to sit back and relax or take the more adventurous side. What ever holiday you are looking for they can make it happen. Also has great facilities and even better staff that are always there to help you.

Vanuatu is one of the best places in the world and the Ni-Vanuatu are among the happiest on earth! Erakor Island is a great place to spend some time and either relax there or use it as abase to explore Port Vila and Efate. This is our second time staying at Erakor and our 6th time to Vanuatu and it is still an amazing place. We will be going back again soon!

Great staff, safe location, very clean and tidy place. The ferry too and fro was an efficient and an excellent service never too much trouble for the boat man. There was not one staff member that did not smile and assist us. The nightly activities are great family entertainment and well presented. The snorkeling was unfortunately only fair because of storm damage but a very safe environment for kids and practice with enough to see to keep you interested. My fiancé and I had a very relaxing 7 days and both agree it is a place to recommend to fellow travelers looking to chill out.
