Great location, we had the place mostly to ourselves. Tip for camping in the winter, the sites on the first couple of rows are exposed & can be noisy with the waves. Nice park, facilities are clean, the toilet block, laundry & playground are getting a bit dated compared to other parks we have recently stayed at on Victorian Surf Coast.

Dont stay here. They are rude. There is only room for one van at check in. Take note of this when checking in or you will block the roadway and they will complain. Water was out for two days. All they could say was 'It's out of our control'. I had to go out and buy fresh drinking water. Go somewhere else.

It is a really clean and tidy park , friendly staff , fantastic location ,easy walking to the Main Street and beach .The facilities are a bit aged but clean ,So many sites to choose from in winter , some with really good shelter and privacy if that is what your looking for. Will definitely go again in winter

I love this park the sites are great the park is so close to one of the best beaches on the south coast. We have stayed there many times in our van. But this time we stayed in a cabin! BIG 4 YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. The cabin floor is covered in lino from 1975, the shower is covered in mould the shower alcove was so old when you stood in it, it felt you were falling through the floor. Every cupboard was peeling as much as I love this place, I hate to say it the cabins need a total make over. Then I was charged 50 dollars extra to have my greyhound stay with me ! Discusting.

The grounds and surrounds were very nice, beautiful setting, right on the beachfront, direct access to the beach. Pt Elliot is a lovely little town, thoroughly enjoyed the visit. That is the only pleasant comment I can make. We were very disappointed with the 2 bedroom “villa” we stayed in. It was possibly okay in its day, but badly needs to be renovated. Cleanliness was a major problem, the shower and toilet areas needed a really good clean, the floor in the toilet gave off an odour similar to a male urinal. The shower floor was disgusting, with rust and cracks, which surely would harbour germs etc. We would not recommend staying here in a “villa” at all.

Visited my children and grandchildren who were staying for the weekend. They booked as the playground looked amazing in the photos. Very disappointed as the playground was very poor, no jumping balloon and really nothing but a big sand pit. Nothing like the photos.

Big park with spacious sites. We had a lovely beachfront site with great views. Unfortunately, lots of people chose to walk or bike through our site as it was right in front of access to the beach. We only had a campervan and therefore did not have a caravan, tents, and cars to take up all the space as most others. But still, we expected people to respect that it was our site and use the paths instead. Maybe the park could emphasize that you should not walk through occupied sites or make more paths instead of sites. The showers were not very clean, and due to a power outrage, we could not use the BBQ.

Our booking for 7 nights extended to 10 because this is the perfect location to unwind and enjoy the bounties of the Fleurieu Peninsula. The caravan park is spacious with many trees and shrubbery for shade and nestling the van. Easy access to Horseshoe Bay where the beach is protected from winds, crystal clear water and you have the option of sitting on the sand or seating under shade on the grassy foreshore. Bike paths wind along the coast for kms. The location was ideal for day trips. Only an hour to Hahndorf, Adelaide, under an hour to McLaren Vale wineries, 15 minutes to the lovely town of Victor Harbour. So much to see and do...or not. Amenities were spotless and regularly cleaned, plenty of hot water and sites were generous. Friendly, welcoming staff. We will definitely be going back.

Great place to stay. Clean and well maintained facilities, (i.e. showers and toilet facility). Friendly and helpful staff. Very close proximity to beautiful beaches and a very scenic cliff path that can be used for a pleasant stroll into town where numerous shops and places of interest are located. I have only one negative comment, (I mentioned this at check-out). Although WiFi was strong enough to make use of without ant problem in close proximity to the camp kitchen, elsewhere I found difficulty connecting or making good use of it. Hopefully, improving the quality / availability of strong WiFi throughout the park grounds will be addressed. I recommend this park as a nice place to stay based upon my experience and look forward to my return.
