Amethyst Court Motor Lodge

I stayed here December 2021 with my toddler for 2 nights. I don't recall logging into the TV there but apparently I did because 3 years later, someone has been accessing my YouTube account and watching some really disturbing and inappropriate content. I was worried it was some kids in my family viewing on another device. After digging around I find it was the TV in the room we stayed in that the content was being watched. Please do not sign in, or at least, sign out before you leave. I'm really disgusted by the content that I saw in my history.

This was the worst motel weve ever stayed in.We booked 7 rooms unfortunately by reading the comments on booking dot com not realising there were no dates to the comments. When complaining to the manager he started giving the most riduculous answers like the cleaners were coming in tomorrow when clearly the room needed to be cleaned before we occupied it the carpet was stained.The shower in our room had huge cracks in it he said that was a maintainance problem at least 3 rooms had no working electric blankets or no spare blankets we were told there were no blankets left there was no milk in any of the units we were told because we were meant to have asked at checkin but noone offered it and when I complained he just gave that reason but no milk I then went to.purchase some and the next morning it was frozen as the fridge didnt work.Another room only one bedroom was serviced the reason being a small neck cushion was left accidently on the bed I checked all of the rules at no point did it mention anything being left on the bed would prevent it from being made while 4 of us were complaining on behalf of our large booking the manager said our vompany would never be accepted there again as we were too fussy I would hardly think requiring clean could hardly be termed fussy.I have to comment on here as he blocked me from commenting through other channels and blocked my phone number

Comfortable and quiet. perfect location for attending a yoga course at the gym across the road. Facilities were perfect for my two day stay. Room facilities were adequate, decor needs refreshing and updating. Slightly concerned that staff did not appear to be visible at reception, or easy to get a hold of, only at check in time. Back again this week for the end of my yoga course.

Was booked here by my work travel agency Great location…… but that’s about it! Reception had a strong smell of stale putrid curry Young Indian guy on reception was rude and unhelpful Immediately noticed that the place was very dirty Cheap bed - very uncomfortable Likewise super cheap linen not very clean The constant traffic and car stereo noise made it impossible to sleep Couldn’t wait to check out the next day I don’t know what those who have given high ratings are on about Must have very low standards Would absolutely never stay here again and urge you not to also

Reception was very welcoming and helpful Motel is in a very good location and easy to find Shopping Plaza is across the Road Rooms are very comfortable There is no Lift so you will need to be prepared for Stairs

Nightmarish stay, be aware of bedbugs. I stayed at this motel on business with 4 other colleagues . I recently stayed at Amethyst Court Motor Lodge on a business trip, but it turned out to be a complete nightmare. Little did I know that these were signs of a serious bed bug infestation. As the night progressed, I found myself covered in painful, itchy bites. The next morning, I wanted to tell the staff , but no one was present at reception. To add to the horror, I had to seek medical attention upon returning home, as the bites got infected and required medication. I am still recovering a week after my stay, and the experience has been distressing both physically and mentally. On return home I contacted them regarding this issue with photo evidence . To my disbelief they did not care, apologise or offer a refund. I highly advise against staying at Amethyst Cour Motor Lodge. The health risks associated with bed bugs are severe, and the hotel's lack of response and concern only worsened the situation. I urge the management to take immediate action to address this infestation and improve the overall conditions of the hotel. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone and will be warning friends and family to steer clear of this establishment.

Was a tad disappointed staying at this place! Wellington being a cold place but there were no spare blankets only 3 spare pillows…. Floor and curtains were dirty and not enough soap/conditioner for 3 guests… that’s not what bugged me the most. Pay $200 and there’s not even a kitchentte(sink/water!) let alone a jug to boil water. I didn’t appreciate having to use the bathroom sink/water. Are we suppose to wash dishes in bathroom ? On a happier note staff member that checked us in was great and queen bed was comfortable. Single bed a little hard.

We booked a living space with two rooms adjoining. The Indian man double booked and offered two rooms beside each other. When we arrived the two rooms were far apart and our young children were expected to sleep in the other room. We wanted to be all together, they could t offer that. We walked away having already paying the money. The Indian man told us we would be fully refunded, we were never refunded.

I didnt have great expectations of this motel but my room was clean, quiet and comfortable. What more can you ask for? I could not fault it. It was hard to cross the road outside to go get some dinner but that was not the motel's fault!
