The Fountain Inn

Stayed here for one night , check in was very efficient with a pleasant welcome. Room was spotless and suited our needs for the evening , bed was comfortable and en suite was fine although the taps need a bit of attention as they were very stiff to operate and we thought they were never going to turn off !! ( room 3 ) Breakfast was very good and satisfying. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again

We received an email from management stating bar and restaurant is closed on Tuesdays only - As we was only staying for 1 night which was a Monday so booked. Disaster as everything was shut on Mondays, if you look at the small print in the house rules its states its closed. When brought to their attention that the email sent out was incorrect, all we got back was not very friendly responses saying its correct and not charge early check in- which was not the case, it only states this in the house rules not the email sent out from management. Stay if you to deal with rude people and be messed about.

I went here with friends. We all enjoyed our meals. I had the chicken goujons to start and cajun chicken for main. Both were fantastic. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return.

Oh what a memorable and wonderful evening had by all. Fantastic food from an impressive menu we all had something different from salmon, steak burgers curry and vegetable stack. What wonderful attentive staff, nothing to fault. We certainly will be back.

The rooms are clean and tidy with everything you need. We ate at the bar which was good quality pub food. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast the next morning was good and again friendly staff. Based on the room being clean, the size of the room, the quality of food and friendly staff, for the money we would stay here again.
