The place has all the amenities, friendly staff, clean rooms. Comfortable bed and mostly spacious. We will be back. The general area is beautiful the air is fantastic. Breakfast is two hours only.....................................

For us, it seemed that there were many corners cut just to save a few bucks. Didnt seem to warrant belonging to the Best Western brand, and thus we didnt get what we expected. When it is stated to included things like breakfast and a pool, they should be useable. They didnt put out enough food even an hour before closing. The pancake maker didnt work. They seemed frugal and just didnt want to spend much on breakfast. The pool was freezing cold and not heated at all. I didn’t see anyone using it. Kids were disappointed and they will usually swim in anything. The hot/cold water was reversed on the faucets and shower. Almost burned myself. The towels were worn out and like sandpaper. Grout on the old tiles were stained and chipped. No steam/odor exhaust fan in the bathroom, and couldn’t open the window much since it opened right to the front walkway. Front Door didnt close properly. Carpet padding worn out. The only EV charger was in a handicap spot and a Telsa was parked there the whole time. I did appreciate the location of the multiple sinks, the comfortable beds, and the good water pressure. The staff were friendly, and the exterior was nice. I didn’t expect a resort, but for the price and brand, I would have expected more consistency, at least for breakfast. Better just not to offer it. Franchise owner gets to get away with doing the bare minimum. Next time we come for Apple Hill, we will stay towards Placerville.

Everything worked well; wouldn't recommend the breakfast though. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can't hear the highway traffic noise coming from Hwy 50 although it is behind the field in back of the Inn. Apparently there has been an Inn here since Pony Express days so they know what they are doing.

Comfortable and quiet, with a pool to cool off after a day of hiking. The staff is wonderful too. We enjoyed the touchless pancake maker in the breakfast room. The hotel is on the old pony express route, convenient to restaurants and shops. It’s close to but not directly the very busy Highway 50.

This is a well managed hotel and the hosts were gracious and helpful, however the breakfast are is upstairs and not accessible if you're in a wheelchair. The food was brought to me, but they are not in the restaurant business therefore it would not be fair to rate them on the food, but the only protien was eggs and they were barely warm. The coffee was brought to me 10 minutes after the food came.

It had a loud noise that sounded like water running through the walls. It prevented sleep. It wasn't just my room It was others as we went to check out other guests were asking if we heard that noise as well. They were just as upset as us. We stayed at other locations that were great but we were disappointed at this location.

Attended wedding in the hills of California and elected to stay in a hotel rather than camping. This hotel was recommended so we booked it for 2 nights. The staff was fantastic, friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay great. Breakfast was good and kitchen staff was there to assist whatever was needed. My wife wanted decaf ciffee which was not on the food bar and she went and made some immediately! I did think the price was a little high, even with the discount I received, but I had no complaints about anything else. If back in this area again I would definitely look at staying here again.
