Caybeach Papagayos

Just got back from a week here. Great apartments with everything you need in them.It was very chilled and quiet even though most apartments were full. Reception staff were really friendly, nothing was too much trouble . Our room was right at the top of the complex great view from balcony . We had a hire car so we’re ok with location may be a little far out for some.

I'm a mum who took 3 autistic kids to Caybeach papagayos. We got a taxi outside the airport, 56€ and it took about 40 mins. We arrived at reception and was given our key card, map of the hotel and some hotel info like pool towel cost and so on. You pay for the safe, and you pay deposit for tv remote. I didn't bother with it because we all had tablets to watch our stuff. The pool is to the right of the reception, there are steps or a walkway. To the rooms there are steps or walkways for those with mobility issues. If you have issues with mobility I would email reception before your holiday to get an easy access room. Staff on reception are lovely, very helpful and kind. The apartments are large and clean, they are updating many of the appliances as we received a brand new fridge and shower head halfway through our stay. Sofa bed in the livingroom, table and chairs in the dining area good size kitchen with hob, toaster, kettle,coffee machine. 2 big bedrooms with 4 single beds and 2 big bathrooms with shower over baths. Beds were clean and comfortable. Our apartment was cleaned twice during our weeks stay but beds only made up once. I wasn't too keen on the fact that cleaners leave the rubbish bag outside your room for a day or 2 until they are all collected. Other than that the hotel was spotless and lovely. There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel but it's less than 5 mins to some lovely places to eat. I recommend Simple and natural, always very high quality and Carpe Diem. Best cocktails from Carpe Diem. The hotel was full when we were there but you wouldn't know it, it's very peaceful and quiet. No sunbed wars, no shouting or drunks. Just chilled out people having a good time and resting. Kids having fun in the pool but still very chilled. There are a couple day beds too. The sunbeds are clean, new looking and very comfortable. Even with the hotel full there was never more than around 20 people at the pool. There is a little kiddie pool too for little ones. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you to Marina Rubicon and into playa blanca centre. We definitely plan on returning to Caybeach Papagayos. You can tell they are trying to make this a lovely place to enjoy your holiday.

Cannot fault the apartment . Arrived after midnight to our room which was on lower level which was fine but we did want upper level. Asked following day could they accommodate us within 30mins we had changed rooms . Clean towels every day & only here 6 nights . Staff friendly & welcoming couldn't do enough for you . place is spotless clean basic & abit out the way but bus stops literally outside . Shops 5 mins away Paulos bar is great good cold beer's friendly atmosphere a must try . Would definitely recommend very pleased with our stay thank you caybeach from the Masseys family xx

Stayed for a week mid July. Have to say the whole complex was excellent. The apartments are a good size, recently renovated to a pretty decent standard. There was a good size bedroom with direct access to the balcony that was seperate from the main living area, that comprised lounge (with balcony access), dining area and kitchen, with a small courtyard off the kitchen for drying wet towels and costumes. The kitchen was sufficiently large with a fridge hob, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and microwave, more than enough for basic needs, and all either brand new, or on good clean fully working condition. We had an upper floor which had a large balcony with sea view, which was great to relax at the end of a hard day’s sunbathing! At the heart of this complex is the pool, which is a really good size, which also appears to have been refurbished. There were always plenty of sun loungers and brollys, considering how large the complex was, there were never more than 20 people round the pool, which made for a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Pool towels can be borrowed for the duration at a €15 deposit (cash only). The complex is on the outskirts of Playa Blanca, which may not suit all, but there is a bus stop right outside, which runs every 30 minute from around 7 am till 10pm, at €1.40 per journey (10 mins journey to centre). The bus service is incredibly reliable, you can pretty much set your watch by it. Over the road, about 5 mins walk is the commercial centre, with a great little supermarket that is well stocked, and around 8-10 eating places, with the Tapas bar, which appeared to be family run being a particularly facourite if ours. There are tv’s in the room, but I don’t think there are any uk channels, but we used a fire stick with no problems, the wifi is excellent, witharound 200mb plus speeds! The only downside is there is a 6 euro deposit for the tv remote, which we found a bit odd, but can only assume past theft has left the business with little other option. The staff were always incredibly helpful, resolving the couple of small matters we bought to their attention immediately, they could not have done more. The whole complex is kept spotlessly clean. Upper floor apartments do seem to have better views, some with sea view, but not all. Downstairs apartments have easier access. Families might find pool facing apartments useful for children. If you want a relaxing quiet holiday in good quality accommodation then we would suggest this is ideal. Considering this is listed as a 3 star complex, we would say it punches well above its weight.

Dont confuse with Caybeach Sol nearby which is an hotel. Our driver did, but we were able to redirect. Reception staff very helpful, as were Jet2 customer helpline. Supermarket and handful of restaurants a few minutes walk away. Recommend Carpe Diem Tapas Restaurant. Built on a hill with several levels, Can be a problem for anyone with mobility issues, as upper levels have to be reached via long uphill paths and steps. Our apartment had to be accessed via over 30 steps. Sure help would possibly be available, but it would be better if mentioned on Jet 2 website before booking, We had good view over lower apartments with sea view, and Fuerteventa, but some apartments view was of apartment opposite, and bare volcanic walls and gardens. In a very quiet out of town area, but half hourly bus just outside site. 3 stops and short walk to nice Marina (Passing small shopping centre...Rubicon). Bus continues to Playa Blanca Central Bus Station close to beach. You can stay on for one more stop, and get off at the Ferry which has regular trips to Fuerteventura. Price for return trip less than £30 each. Overall, enjoyed a quiet restful holiday.

Had a lovely relaxing holiday at caybeach. Spacious apartment with really comfy bed, large bathroom with powerful shower and hairdryer, amazing views, only a short walk to supermarket and restaurants and bus stop outside apartments to explore further. The only thing missing was a bar but not a problem as shops across the road. I would definately stay here again and caybeach deserves a higher star rating.

We have just spent a week here. We arrived late at night and were pleased to be allocated a large, spacious apartment which was spotlessly clean. There was air con in both the living room and bedroom with no additional charge. We had a huge balcony overlooking the pool. The bathroom was large with a shower over the bath. The shower head looked a bit dated but was powerful so no issue and there was a large surface area for toiletries. The towels were a bit thin and we had them changed twice in a week so an extra change would have been preferable. The wardrobe in the bedroom had plenty of hangers and there was a chargeable in room safe. The pool area was spacious and well maintained. There were plenty of sun loungers and like previous reviews have mentioned , the pool area was never busy or crowded even when the apartments were fully booked. It would have been great to have had a pool bar as there are currently no facilities to get a drink or snack although I think there may be plans for one in future. It's about a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and a couple of bars/snack bars or a good 20 minute walk to Marina Rubicon where you will find a good choice of restaurants and shops. We got a taxi to the other end of the resort, Playa Flamingo area and it was only around 7 euros or there is a bus stop right outside the complex. I would recommend staying here as long as you're happy being situated in a peaceful area. We would stay here again.

Arrived late Monday 23rd September, the man on reception was extremely pleasant and came out to show us where our apartment was. Pool area is lovely, no fighting for sunbeds, all lovely and clean. There's no pool bar so it would definitely benefit from a vending machine for cold drinks. Towels changed most days and beds were also changed. No kettle in the room although there is a coffee machine, asked at reception and a kettle was provided. Free WiFi in apartment and around the pool . Across the road 5 minutes away is a supermarket and a couple of bars. The bus stop is outside into Playa Blanca and runs every 30 minutes. Loved this holiday and can't wait to return ❤️

We stayed for a week and was very pleased with the place, the rooms were big and airy and had air conditioning. The kitchen was stocked with basic utensils, a microwave and fridge, so you can make anything. We didn’t have a kettle in our room so we went to reception and there was one delivered within 5 minutes. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful every time we needed to make enquires if we were unsure about anything. There were so many sunbeds around the pool which were never full so you can always get somewhere, (no getting up at silly o’clock to try and put your towels out) There’s a bus stop right outside of the complex which for €1.40 per person you can go to either the marina or into the town or all around plays blanca. We got a taxi to the marina from caybeach which was €4.50 and one back from the town which is a bit further and that was €5,50 so transport is not expensive. There is a shopping centre not far where you can get all you need with restaurants and bars if you don’t want to go further into playa blanca. I would recommend this place if you want a lovely relaxing holiday, we will definitely be returning
