Staff is unprofessional and a lot of discrimination. I booked the room for my fiancé. I called the hotel the night before check in to confirm the deposit amount to which the guy stated it over the phone it would be $100 (not based on how many nights you stay, ect) I confirmed $100 deposit no matter how long the stay is (he was only staying 2 nights which was $160 booking) Well come the next morning at check in time, my fiancé (a black man) goes in to check in and pay his deposit. They are now telling him it is a $200 deposit and not $100 and that “oh, it use to be $100 but now its $200”.. mind you this is his 5th stay with this hotel in the last month (first stay charged $200, $200, $100 and then $200 again) they go back on their word and charge whatever deposit they want based on who you are. Why would we pay a $200 deposit on $160 booking, that is more then the room itself! And especially when we were already told it was only $100. I requested to have my room cancelled and let “Steven” at the front desk know they would be calling to confirm my cancellation and this supplier / hotel has waited the whole 2 days of the booking without replying about my cancellation. I was still charged for my stay and now have to wait additional time to hear back on my refund / cancellation. This is so unprofessional and I will not be staying here again.
