Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Paxton

Traveling from TN to MN for a family visit we've had so many crappy experiences staying at other hotels with some big names. We decided at the last minute to try this hotel, what is the worst that could happen, another musty, unclean hotel? Well we were extremely surprised at how awesome this hotel was. The price was extremely reasonable, the staff were super friendly and the room was awesome! It was clean and smelled fresh, not musty at all! The entire bathroom was spotless and the water pressure was exceptional! Will definitely be staying here on our way back home from MN. This will be our go to stop when traveling back and forth.

Well cared for property. Would stay again. Only complaint was the ability to hear the people above walking/ stomping in the middle of the night. Breakfast was good. Price felt high for the area. Weight room and laundry on site. Close to highway

I love staying here because of the convince. However this will probably be my last visit because I can no longer afford the rates you are charging, I can stay in Bloomington Illlinois for less money and still save money at a 5 star hotel. I’m really disappointed and so are my friends that stay there.

The free continental breakfast was very good! The room that we stayed in was clean and spacious for our family. The front desk/staff was very friendly. There was also ample lit parking & the hotel was close to the highway. We would stay here again!

We stayed here for 2 night's due to a wedding nearby. It's a newer clean facility but way, way overpriced! We've stayed at the Hyatt and Hilton for this price. We're in Paxton for goodness sake! The check in was very slow. Given 1 room key, asked for 2. No elevator so no reason to even have carts available. The room was very hot. Left for the rehearsal dinner, came back the room was still hot! At 11 pm, the room started to cool down. At 12:15, had to go down to the car. Was able to get back in the building but not our room! The 2nd key would not work!! My husband was sound asleep. I knew he would not wake up but everyone else would. I had to go all the way down to the front desk. Got another key, our 3rd. By this time, I'm wide awake. It was nothing special. Wouldn't stay there again and do not recommend!!

Every employee was excellant! The room was very clean, and the bed well I wish I could of packed it, and brought it home. My only thing is the TV remote would only work for channels. It would never control the volume or on/off. I figured out button on bottom of TV would, but that was as I was leaving. The direct TV remote was not sync with TV.

We have been traveling for a few days and had an excellent experience at The Cobblestone Hotel. It was very clean, the receptionist was very friendly and the room was well equipped not to mention breakfast was somewhat typical but there were lots of little extras. It was a little more expensive than I would expect but worth the extra few dollars. I highly recommend staying there.

Clean hotel, nice free breakfast. Cold air and decent mattress. Everyone was nice, from housekeeping to front desk. Stayed for a business trip Wed to Thurs night. Requested late checkout and it was accommodated for a small fee of $25 until 2:30 pm.
