A gem! At first, I was discouraged by the reviews, I have seen. Yes, the hotel is situated right in the most sketchy places in Paris! But, all big cities have one esp when the hotel is quite near their unspoken red light district and it is also near the cathedral and centraal station. So always be alert of your surroundings. As per the hotel, the elevator is small but I have no issue with it. You can fit one person, that’s it. So ask for a lower level room. The room I got was amazing. I would say that it is quite expensive but it is Paris. At least, I had a little balcony (half) and the room was clean and the pillows were good quality as well. The toilet is quite okay but small. I had no problem cuz I was single but if you have kids, I think it is better if you book elsewhere. The staff were nice and accommodating. I was shocked by their hospitality given that I was in France ;) I checked in late, had no problems whatsoever… and was able to store my luggage till late. No issues as well!

For the price is fair and pretty much clean! Upon arrival the first thing I noticed was that one o the towels was filthy due to a brown stain that was on half of the tower, also the toilet brush had poop on top of it, I mean we know is use it for it, but never in a hotel have left me one with the poop leftovers on it, in addition the body shampoo was empty, good thing I always carry my cleaning products, tho were small details made me wonder if the rest of the room was clean or were more things similar to that, aside of that the personnel at Front desk was amazing.
