Booked a month ago. Card details were verified at the time. On the day of arrival (as I was in the air on the plane) the hotel cancelled the booking. I called them, and they said I needed to email. I emailed them and they did not respond to the email. I was forced at the very last minute to find a new hotel, that was of course more expensive. Given other reviews I have read on social media, I believe the hotels does this when they become fully booked, so they can benefit from getting a higher tariff from customers. There was nothing wrong with my card, which is a Euro bank account, and was used for other hotels in France, and everyday whilst in France. FWIW in case anyone reading this thinks I could have input the card details incorrectly....the details are saved, which was used, the same way I've used it at hundreds of other hotels

Do not go here! Customer service is terrible. I made a reservation here for my stay during the Olympics. Knowing that it would be a pricey trip, I intentionally reserved through a hotels website to earn rewards. Apparently this hotel doesn't like to deal with their obligations to such agreements. On check-in we were reprimanded for not booking directly. On day 2 of my 5-day stay they canceled my booking to earn rewards and re-booked me directly. I discovered this only upon my return home when I checked my rewards balance, expecting hundreds of points and having none. The rewards company and I called three times to have them confirm that I stayed, but unbelievably nobody there spoke English, despite being bilingual during my stay. I spent thousands of dollars on this stay, the least I could ask for is for them to not cancel my effort to collect some travel points so that they could avoid their agreements with the vendor. I'll be back in Paris in a few months, and I will never stay here again.

Immediately after entering the room we sensed a foul smell, we opened the window but the smell persisted. Upon checking for the source of it we found bugs exiting the crate on the bathroom floor and (behind the pipes) there were granules (as we guessed the reason of the smell). The man seating in the reception desk wasn’t surprised at all and mentioned it is a “natural substance” used there. You don’t go on a vacation to sleep with bugs and a nasty odor, so we decided to leave a room literally 5 minutes after entering it - we also asked for a refund and the receptionist assured us we will receive it. Since then we are trying (without success) to contact of the manager of this hotel (who doesn’t speak English) - both calling and sending email multiple times. We demand the promised refund!!

I'm glad you had a great experience at Hôtel Agenor! The atmosphere was incredibly calm, which was perfect for you as a student looking for a quiet place to study. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. You were able to fully focus on your studies and enjoy a relaxing stay. In addition to being close to the Montparnasse Tower, I highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a peaceful place to rest and study. It was awesome! 😊

A very comfortable hotel with clean rooms, beautiful decorations and practical emplacement. The welcome is warm and the location is very calm and cozy. The breakfast is also a nice option. Totally recommend !

Hôtel bien situé, la proximité de toutes commodités( gare Montparnasse, metro Gaité, magasins, restaurant...,) décoration soignée, accueil chaleureux la disponibilité du personnel, la bonne connexion wifi, le confort de la chambre

Prenez garde aux modalités d'encaissement ! J'ai réglé ma nuitée du 29 mars au 30 mars par internet puis l'hôtel m'a encaissé une deuxième fois sur place une nuitée. J'ai eu beau protesté, pour toute réponse ils m'ont indiqué que je ne m'étais pas présenté pour la première nuitée du 29 mars (j'ai toutes les preuves que c'est faux et même un témoin), que leur logiciel ne pouvait pas se tromper et que j'avais dormi la nuit suivante dans leur hôtel la nuit du 30 au 31 mars (ce qui est absurde puisque je suis reparti de Paris le 30, je leur ai même envoyé mon billet de train...). A FUIR ABSOLUMENT

Muy bien ubicado, lindas habitaciones, buen trato de los conserjes, unico punto en contra que no hablan español . Muchos locales de gastronomia cerca, a metros de las avenidas, si a uno le gusta caminar, se puede ir a todos los puntos turisticos de esa forma.
