Diese Hotel war das Beste, was uns in Surinam passieren konnte. Wir hatten zwei Mal Pech mit dem Gepäck und jedesmal halfen uns die netten Angestelltn sofort. Das erste Mal mussten wir 6 Tage auf unser Gepäck warten, das Hotel half uns mit Sonnenmilch und Tipps und organisierte den Transport des Gepäcks in den Dschungel. Und als wir am Ende unserer Tripps kenterten und um Mitternacht mit drei klitschnassen Rucksäcken da standen, wurde alles für uns getrocknet. Super! Sehr nett fanden wir auch das persönlich zusammengstellte Frühstückstablett.

Das kleine Hotel ist gut eingerichtet, das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Wir waren immer wieder auf Zwischenstopp in diesem Hotel und konnten unser Gepäck problemlos unterstellen. Die Zimmer sind zwar etwas klein, ebenso das Bad, aber frisch renoviert.

Wir können dieses Hotel absolut empfehlen! Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht sehr groß, aber sehr sauber! Es wird generell sehr viel Wert auf Sauberkeit, eine schöne Atmosphäre und viel Gastfreundschaft gelegt. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist gut. Das Zentrum sowie einige sehr nette Restaurants sind fußläufig gut erreichbar. Durch die Lage in einer wenig befahrenen Nebenstraße ist das Hotel sehr ruhig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und bedanken uns herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft!

Wir waren einige Tage in der Holland Lodge zwischen zwei Trips. Toll ist die schöne Atmosphäre, vor allem der Frühstücksbereich und die Terrasse draußen, in der man sich ein bißchen wie im Urwald fühlt. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber funktional. Wir würden wieder dort einchecken, vielen Dank!

I had an excellent stay in Holland Lodge Paramaribo. To be honest, the pictures on their website make the rooms look a bit more luxurious than they are in reality. BUT, that didn't affect my experience and stay at all. The hotel is situated on a nice quiet location, a 10 minutes walk to more action and the presidential palace and the famous Palmentuin. The hotel staff is super friendly, flexible and very helpful. I really felt at home. Rooms are cleaned every day and have all the (basic) facilities one needs. The lounge is situated around a small pool and has a cosy atmosphere and you can have drinks, snacks and some small dishes. This will be my go to place in Paramaribo! Highly recommended!

10/10 recommendation, the entire staff is incredibly friendly and really wants you to have the best time, the hotel is very pretty, has a great pool aswell as good food and refreshing drinks, you can get great advice what to do and where to go in and out of the city and are close to restaurants and grocery stores

This was our first time in Suriname and we were blown away by our stay at Holland Lodge. 1) The staff was exceptional! Before our arrival, they helped us with an airport transfer (the airport is FAR from the city, spring for the transport!). During our stay they helped us do laundry for a reasonable price, helped us order food when we arrived late, and also helped us book a dolphin cruise last minute. Even more so they went above and beyond. I got a pretty nasty infection the day before we left for the interior and Sherona helped me find a doctor, called her on my behalf, and helped me set up the my appointment- truly incredible service! Then we ordered food a second time and were told by Pizza Hut they would take my visa credit card upon delivery. This was untrue but Lucy at the front desk immediately stepped in, paid him in cash on our behalf and put it on our room bill- absolutely amazing service! 2) This place was CLEAN- like clean clean. The sheets were spotless, the room was white glove clean which we really appreciated. 3) Breakfast- Breakfast was 12USD to add on which seemed steep but it was so nice not to worry about it in the morning and the food was fantastic. We truly appreciated our stay and the staff is truly who blew this place out of the water! Incredible. We hope to visit again!

This hotel has really surpassed its ambition in providing a pleasant and tranquil space from the heat and semi-squalor of Paramaribo. With its abundance of tropical plants, well cared for by Roberto, the koi carp fountain and aviary as well as the perfectly situated pool, the ambience created could not be better. The rooms were spacious and clean and Adjai ordered me an airport taxi for 3.00 am that arrived punctually and without any hassle. Probably the only time that occurred in our 5 days of travelling around Surinam. A special thanks to all the staff and providing the best coffee in Paramribo
