An absolutely exceptional location for anyone planning a trip/ or stay at Paramaribo! The service and hospitality I received was second to none and the general ambience was incredible! I will definitely give this amazing hotel a 5 star rating!

My family and I had a very pleasant and unforgettable stay at Royal Torarica where we were surprised by getting an upgrade to the penthouse. We will never forget it!!

Great location, great staff, beautiful gardens and pier, lots of good facilities and very nice pools. Why not 3 stars? Staff is immaculate and treat you very well. Very service oriented. If you want to spend a lazy day in, this is the place to be. You're like after well and all the pools you can use, or do a little sports or king size chess, very relaxed day(s) to be had here. Food and drink are good and not ridiculously priced. Now why not 5 stars, some issues with the room you just don't expect from an establishment like this. A noisy A/C in one of the rooms, used glasses not refreshed or cleaned up, found a wet bathrobe in one of the rooms (other room didn't have bathrobes, take your pick which is worse), safe not working because of corroded batteries, one coffee cup in a room for two, one room not cleaned after 16:00. All not major issues, but not what you'd expect from an establishment such as this. I'm sure, had it been reported (the room cleaning was reported and done instantly btw), they would have solved the issue but for the money you pay this might have been avoided.

Stayed a total of 4 non-consecutive nights (2+1+1) in three different rooms while on a tour (booked by travel agency). This is primarily a business hotel and is well located within walking distance of several restaurants. The major problem is the HVAC system. When I first arrived, the room was fit for a polar bear. The A/C cannot be turned off, and the thermostat can only be set between 22° and 24° (22-23° in the first room I stayed in). However, the temperature in the room is barely around 20°, and all rooms were uncomfortably cold. The air smells bad and there is major condensation on certain areas of the floor, which are always wet and slippery. The A/C in the first room was also extremely noisy, like sitting next to a running train. The rooms were otherwise reasonably comfortable. Amenities included electric kettle and coffee/tea packets. Well lit desk area. Comfortable bed and pillows (but only a flimsy blanket, absolutely insufficient for the temperature). Bathrooms with everything in working order. Good water pressure in the shower. No toiletries other than a soap bar and no hair dryer. Wifi worked well. The hotel takes a credit card pre-authorization of $50/day for incidentals, and I was informed that, if not used, it takes **one month** to release it! This is unheard of. Breakfast is à la carte without vegetarian options (although they will bring you something if you ask). Overall nothing special, and very limited seating near the serving area. The staff is highly variable: some employees are nice and helpful, while others are extremely rude.

I had such a wonderful time at Royal torarica. This was my first time visiting Paramaribo and I had a great experience. The staff, the hotel, the service, all is really nice. I would definitely recommend it and I would go back for sure. You can use any of their installations, Royal, Resort or Eco. The area is full of restaurants and bars around. The hotel is quiet, you can sit outside and relax, drinks are great, and deserts are really good.

Prima kamer, comfortabel bed en rustig. Er is een heerlijk zwembad aanwezig met bediening. Het avond diner wordt zeer professioneel gepresenteerd en geserveerd en is betaalbaar. De dame die ons bediende was zeer professioneel. De tuin is mooi aangelegd dus genieten. Het ontbijt is onvoorstelbaar uitgebreid. Overweldigend lekker allemaal. Kleine kanttekening is wel dat het schuifgedeelte van de glazen douchedeur was aangetast en niet schoon was ( schimmelvorming) .

Si vous voulez un endroit pour vous détendre et profiter en famille c est l endroit idéale la chambre présidentiel au top et avec l hôtel vous avec accès à tout les autres hôtels à côté en plus pour les activités. Le personnel super professionnel et top. Les chambres haut de gamme, le restaurant très bon, le petit déjeuner très variés et complet.
