Chateau Beachfront Resort, BW Signature Collection

What a location! Absolute beach frontage - complete with a balcony overlooking the beach with the stunning emerald water as the back drop. The room has everything we require, and was the most up-to-date room that I’ve stayed in in this price range. I would definitely stay there again, and I’d also recommend it to others.

Worst trip experience ever. I paid the room in full online and only owed $70 upon arrival. Staff told me trip did not calculate the fees correctly then charged my card $300. It was a brand new debit card and never used so the clerk stole my card number and charged $635 at a Panama City beach Walmart. Staff was rude and room had roaches. I will never book with this hotel again.

The hotel was great, they gave me and my husband the wrong room key to someone else's room then they gave us the right room. But that was fine they were very friendly. And location was great right on the beach. And their lobby is open 24-7 that was great to know.

Spider in-between bed sheets killed by staff who voiced he was the engineer ,another staff member who was from front desk ask if I wanted to change rooms when I went to look at another room it did not accommodate my needs of a full size refrigerator that I would need for my stay and she said that's all we have available ... Had no choice but to stay in room with a full refrigerator with dirty floors noted by black color feet, water pressure terrible no English speaking or understanding by housekeeping employees, dishonest staff when a guy left his wallet at poolside in a chair and issues in pricing charge to my credit card...was told by front desk yesterday I would pay 89.00 for and extended stay of 1 night.the front desk lady quoted me 59 dollars for room and 40 dollar resort fee plus a 50 hold on card that would be returned back to card on departure ...this morning on departure front desk lady said so you checking out early? I said no I only extended my stay for a extra night lady said no we have you down to check out next Wednesday I said that's wrong I've been here a week already .. never gave me a receipt so I called back and ask what I was charged for 1 night extended stay since I never got a receipt different lady this morning than yesterday quoted 79.99 for room plus resort fee came to 106 dollars I told her that wasn't right suppose to be 89 dollars she said well you will have to call back tomorrow when the other person is here and talk with her ....delayed timing with housekeeping, queen sheets given to me for a king size bed by housekeeping ,a bath cloth given to me instead of a dish cloth to wash dishes .. horrible experience for my 7 night stay on vacation....

Roaches! NO washcloths! Toilet stopped up and sensitive to very little toilet paper being put in! Uncomfortable beds! Tv small and weird placement. Strange light on ceiling that couldn’t be turned off! Front desk doesn’t answer calls EVER!

I was here about 12-13 years ago, and although a quaint place, nice, neat, clean, and friendly service. This time, same 2Qn room, no table/chairs to eat at, one luggage rack, although it could have accommodated 4 people, thus, one of our luggages had to sit on the floor. Wasn't a problem until the roaches came out on night 4..... pool was horribly cold....few swimming in it. Bath and room floor different levels/different flooring, no transition strip...shoddy work. tub calking almost all gone tub spigot loose and felt ready to break. Wi-fi very poor,,,, lost connectivity often. upon check-in, asked if we could be moved to cabana, told facility was full due to storm. Toilet smelled like wax ring may be leaking on day 4. When unplgging hair dryer from wall, receptacle almost fell out of wall. Shoddy work from supply lines in wall.... and calking at base of tub looked like a 6 year old with dirty hands did this. Tub bottom looked nasty as well. didn't report all until leaving.... didn't want to have to sit w/workers, & already told no where to move to. Desk clerk (Deborah) was rude on checkout when telling her after "she" asked how our stay was. We apparently offended her with the truth, & it all became "our fault". When I told her I had pics of it all, and would just write reviews.... she calmed herself.

we had 2 reservations for this trip & upon arrival we were utterly disappointed w/all 3 rooms we inevitably were assigned. 1st rm was sub-par cleaned (floors were greasy/gritty, roach greeted us as we entered the rm), 2nd hadn't been cleaned at all (10hr after allowable check-in time!! ...filthy towels everywhere, empty food containers and trash throughout the rm, etc.) & 3rd, reassigned after the 2nd was unacceptable, was same as 1st. no simple amenities (hand soap, body soap, shampoo/conditioner, extra toilet paper, etc.) provided at all. would not recommend at all.
