B&B Camelot

-Location: the hotel is located in a downtown neighborhood but close to tourist attractions -Service: the biggest issue we encountered was to check in the hotel upon arrival. Since there is no reception at the building, you’re supposed to contact the hotel owner, William, by phone for getting the keys. However, the breakfasts there were lovely with scenic rooftop view and handmade beverages by the caterer -Cleanliness: the room is generally clean but there’s no daily cleaning service and windows need to be opened to dispel odors -Amenities: the best part of the hotel’s amenities was that they got a water dispenser for refilling your water bottles *the staff there only speak Italian

DO NOT GO HERE! Situated in an extremely run down area, which I certainly didn't feel safe walking around in daylight, let alone night time! We arrived at 5pm after messaging in the morning once again to confirm all was still OK for our visit, to be met with blank looks! The lady who was changing bed sheets made many calls to whomever was supposed to know we were coming, and after 20 minutes and with no English being spoken, we were told the room that wasn't ready would be ours......not ready at 5.30 after confirming our booking at 9am!! Eventually after I wattsapped the "boss" to ask why a room wasn't ready, the lady showed us to a different room, which stank of smoke and had a filthy, stained bedspread with crumbs on it! At that point, we grabbed our bags and left! In my opinion, this establishment does not deserve to be on any booking sites! It is revolting, looked dark and dingy, dirty and unwelcoming. The location is scary and rundown. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.....don't be fooled by the photos and good reviews.....it is not what is shown on the website!

Poor unacceptable standard B&B Located in a really seedy (poor) part of the town yet, only minutes from the Cathedral, located along dirty streets with garbage strewn everywhere, we arrived at the Camelot B&B in Palermo. It is in an old building converted into two rooms on each floor level. There are no elevators and you must be prepared to climb steep steps to get to your room. We immediately noticed that the door lock surround had been patched up after being obviously opened by force. Upon entering the rooms, the design was of a medieval nature eg: The theme being from the Kingdom of Camelot. Basically appointed and barely provided with anything but a few liquid shower gel sachets there was basically,the beds, beaten up modern day chipboard wardrobe, a wall mounted TV and thankfully, an operating air conditioner. The room was shocking and not clean. Breakfast was taken by all the occupants of the other rooms from 08.30-09.30 in a room hardly big enough to sit 5 guests. The so called verandah on the roof was a joke. Not at all fit for the purpose. In fact all the green astro turf shown on online listings was in such poor condition (but, I understand now being replaced). This is a cheap and frankly unacceptable B&B and if awarded any star by any standards barely deserving of a one star. I don’t believe this poor quality of accommodations should be accepted for listing on online rental platforms. In short, look for something else. Pay a little more money and get an acceptable B&B

C'est établissement est une véritable arnaque ! Le mobilier est très vétuste, le voisinage est très bruyant, le petit déjeuner est très sommaire. Nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude pendant deux jours. Au bout de la troisième nuit nous avons déménagé dans un autre hôtel. Nous avons écrit au propriétaire, aucune réponse.... Ne vous faites pas avoir !

Bella esperienza stanza trovata impeccabile e molto profumata.... Non modernissimo ma carino come ambiente ❤️ ci ritornerei davvero... Personale delle pulizie veramente gentile e garbato. Ci ritornerei solamente per incontrarli veramente

Ottimo Beb con vista panoramica e camere accoglienti e pulite con molti ristoranti vicini , personale cordiale e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta con colazioni abbondanti e pronti a dare qualsiasi informazioni per passare un ottima vacanza vicino al centro di Palermo

posto al dir poco terribile, sporco e disastrato. purtroppo sono sprovvista di foto per la nausea che mi procurava guardare la camera colazione terribile in particolare i succhi (penso scaduti). l'unica nota positiva è la posizione, non lontana dai servizi.

Palazzo fatiscente, da chiudere, neanche le più banali norme igieniche vengono rispettate, sono rimaste 3 notti (solo perché avevo pagato anticipatamente) la camera trovata già sporca, non è stata mai pulita. I mobili sono da discarica. Il servizio inesistente.

Mai avuto un esperienza così terribile a un prezzo molto alto,perche a Palermo a 60/70 euro sii trova molto meglio ,visto e considerato che i servizi sono inesistenti,oltre ciò abbiamo passato la prima notte a non poter dormire per il caldo perché il condizionatore non funzionava,detto ciò,avvisiamo il proprietario,sapendo che non avevamo dormito da un giorno e ci manda il tecnico dicendoci che avrebbe perso al massimo un quarto d'ora, invece a spese nostre nella nostra stanza ,senza privacy è stato almeno 5 ore dentro la nostra stanza dopo che abbiamo pagato una cifra al quanto esagerata non abbiamo riposato nemmeno nel pomeriggio . Mai più.
