Die Innenräume der Zimmer, die Rezeption, das Restaurant und die Parkplatzeinrichtungen sind gut. Unter den Punkten, wo das Hotel arbeiten muss. 1. Reparatur der Wasserläufer in den Zimmern und im Waschraum. 2. Während der Spitzenzeiten, die Stärke der Menschenkraft für das Frühstücksbuffet zu verbessern und auch etwas zu halten, um Lebensmittel warm zu halten. Ich habe fast jedes Gast Probleme mit der Beschaffung von Werkzeugen oder warmen Lebensmitteln.

Das Personal war warm und freundlich, Grundstücke wie Zimmerslips, Bürsten n Paste Ich musste fragen. Über heißes Wasser Hat uns nicht über die Zeit nur verfügbar bis 10am dann nur Abend nach 6:00 Uhr war das lächerlich .

The rooms were good but the standard room bathroom was not hygienic. The food in the hotel was average. The location of the hotel is good and the centre of the city. Easy to access

Had a great stay with family at Hotel Carnation, Ooty for 3 nights. It is very near to Charring Cross junction and other market areas. Botanical Garden is also walkable at 1KM. There's a restaurant ”Madras Rasoi” and a Food Truck at the Hotel serving both Veg & N. Veg food. Room was very good and spacious. Geyser is there in the bathroom, so 24/7 hot water there. Kettle is provided for heating drinking water. Hospitality was great by it's owner Mr. Mariadas, very nice person. Mr. Prince who is at reception is a young chap who is very helpful and friendly and well mannered. All other staffs were also very good and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here. I will definitely come back to this hotel next time as well.

Firstly, I was given a room in an extension block that seemed to have been built recently. It was modern but lacked the charm and character of a true heritage property. The main building, with its fireplace and historic ambience, was nowhere to be found. This was especially disappointing considering the premium price I paid, comparable to what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. The lack of attention to detail continued throughout my stay. When I checked in on a rainy day, I had to walk to the extension block without an umbrella despite the muddy road. The staff seemed unbothered by this inconvenience. Additionally, the room didn't have slippers, and the floor was cold, with no heating available (although they did provide a basic room heater when requested). To make matters worse, I had to call the front desk to confirm my room for the second day, which should have been done automatically as part of their standard procedure. This lack of efficiency only added to my frustration. The toiletries were also woefully inadequate, with only basic soap and shampoo provided. Power cuts were frequent, and I had to notify the front desk each time, which seemed like a hassle the hotel should have anticipated. The breakfast buffet was uninspiring and lacked flavour. To make matters worse, I had dinner at their restaurant, which was rated top in Ooty, but my experience was average at best. To add insult to injury, they got our order wrong, substituting Nasi Goreng (fried rice) with Mee Goreng (fried noodles). When I brought this to their attention, they made no effort to compensate for the mistake. In conclusion, Hotel King's Cliff fails to live up to its reputation as a heritage property or even a 2-star hotel. The overpricing and lack of attention to detail make it a poor choice for travellers seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Ooty.

Es ist nahe vom Busbahnhof Ooty und leicht zugängliches Gebiet. Personal ist nett und das Essen ist auch gut. Sie haben Reisebüro sowie es wird für uns einfach, die Kabine zu buchen, wenn wir nicht unser eigenes Fahrzeug haben. Sie müssen etwas mehr auf die Reinigung zu verbessern, als dass es schöne Erfahrung dort bleiben
