I strongly advise exercising caution when considering this hotel or adjusting your expectations. Our last-minute reservation for a Sunday afternoon check-in at 6:00 pm, for room 916, a 1-bedroom King Suite, led to a disappointing experience. On arrival, we encountered a malfunctioning AC in the separate living room, which emitted a musty smell and heat. The hotel was aware of this issue at the time of our reservation and check-in but neglected to inform us. We were then awkwardly left to inquire about our options. Although we were relocated to room 931 with two queen beds, this did not meet our family's needs. The room started off cold but turned uncomfortably hot and sweaty during the night. I do see the bill shown on the Bonvoy app is $322.98 but the $420.35 charge on the credit card statement is the same. The price adjustment is unacceptable. Our family should have been informed or given the option to find other accomadations. I kindly asked to speak with someone at checkout - I was told the assistant manager, Shelby Raines, was in a meeting and promised a call back which never occurred. I tried calling at 3:00 with no luck - The lack of follow-through and transparency does not reflect well on Marriott
