Memorable Stay at Crowne Plaza Nottingham, Thanks to Maria's Exceptional Service I recently had the pleasure of staying at Crowne Plaza Nottingham, and I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful my experience was. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by Maria, who instantly made me feel welcome with her warm and friendly demeanor. Maria's exceptional customer service skills stood out throughout my entire stay. Her attention to detail and genuine desire to ensure my comfort and satisfaction were truly commendable. She went above and beyond to meet my needs and provide assistance whenever required, leaving a lasting impression on me. The hotel itself was fantastic. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully furnished, creating a comfortable and inviting ambiance. The amenities offered were of top-notch quality, and I particularly enjoyed the well-equipped fitness center and the rejuvenating spa facilities. One of the highlights of Crowne Plaza Nottingham was its prime location. Situated in the heart of the city, it provided convenient access to various attractions, shopping centers, and dining establishments. Whether I wanted to explore the cultural landmarks or indulge in some retail therapy, everything was within easy reach. The dining options at the hotel were exceptional as well. The restaurant featured a diverse menu with a wide range of delectable dishes to choose from. I especially relished the breakfast buffet, which offered a delightful selection of both local and international cuisine. Overall, my stay at Crowne Plaza Nottingham surpassed all expectations, and Maria's exceptional service played a major role in making it so memorable. Her genuine warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism truly elevated my experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nottingham, and I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit. Great place to stay in Nottingham - the staff is really good, and it is conveniently located near the downtown, so close to public transport and Albert Hall/Nottingham Playhouse (if that is of interest - tons of good pubs nearby if your interests differ). The availability of laundry facilities is a real plus.

We stayed for two nights in this hotel. The hotel is clean and tidy. The receptionists are nice and helpful. Also, the price is reasonable and the breakfast is great. However, the Nottingham city itself is ****. We paid the tram fare buy still got the penalty and the appeal got rejected. The tram officers are rude and they do not listen to what you say. It is strongly advised not to live and stay in Nottingham, unless you have plenty of money to be fined.

I stayed at this hotel back in 2019 and I would say that overall the hotel is in need of a refurbishment regarding the rooms. Many of the surfaces around the room that we were in originally (202) had been very worn and scratched. The surfaces in our new room (614) were better but still very dated. As you may have been able to pick up now, we moved rooms due to certain things in our original room that we were not happy with. For example, a footprint on one of the chairs, smudges on glass, stains on the carpet floor, part of the carpet coming up from the corner and some very dusty surfaces. I reported this to front desk and requested a move and I had pictures to show the conditions that we had spotted inside the room. The staff member was able to move us to 614 and accompanied us on the elevator to floor two for him to inspect the room whilst we continued to our new room. The new room had one issue with it which was that the bathroom door could not close fully due to a misaligned lock that would move if you opened the door by the handle. Therefore you cannot fully close the door with ease. Again, this was reported. Each room had a large TV (which I cast my device to), a Nespresso machine, a tea station and some information about the adjoining restaurant called Chino Latino. The restaurant was where we had breakfast. The following morning and breakfast was on a buffet service. My wife has celiac disease meaning that she needs a gluten-free diet and this was catered for at the breakfast, however the evening menu does not cater for a lot of gluten-free options, so there is very little choice. Due to this, we had our evening meal in the city center which was so easy to get to as the hotel is already within the city center and at a fantastic location. I highly recommend that you go to the Hockley area of Nottingham City center where there are many places for you to go and have a nice meal or a nice drink. My wife and I went to Mowgli which is an Indian tiffin style restaurant (pictured). One last thing to mention is that the car park at the hotel was filled and therefore we could not avail of this facility. However, there is an NCP car park opposite the hotel and this costs £10 for an overnight stay if you pay by the NCP app or £15 via the normal ticket method, versus £20 if you park at the hotel itself. Overall, I was happy enough with our stay but compared to my stay in 2019, the condition of the hotel has gone down a bit and I really hope that it does get a refurbishment soon as I really like the hotel. For it being a four-star hotel I was hoping for the condition of it to be at least the standard as it was at my previous stay. Customer service was still the same level as it was before which was of a high standard. Breakfast was okay and I think that for catering to people with celiac it was sufficient. If you are a couple, I would recommend possibly staying at another hotel, as this hotel is more for convenience or for a business purpose in my eyes. I give the stay a 3/5.

Had an amazing stay at Hilton Hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Breakfast was a highlight with great variety and quality. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

Es ist ein denkmalgeschütztes und „ungleichmäßiges“ Gebäude mit einigen alten Zeichen, nicht geräumig und ohne Sitzbereich im Ankunftsbereich. Mercure hat es wie ein Boutique-Hotel gestaltet. Es hat viele interessante moderne Eigenheiten im Innenbereich, aber einige Innenausstattungen wirken nicht so hochwertig, wo sie es könnten. Die Zimmereinrichtung war schön, aber es fühlte sich nicht „sauber“ an, weil der braune Teppich so alt war, mit durchgefilzten Dielen und alte Zahnpasta am Rand des Waschbeckens. Einige Armaturen sahen alt aus, was mit einer gründlichen Reinigung viel besser hätte aussehen können, z. B. Klimaanlagen, Aufzug. Das Badezimmer war angemessen, aber nicht so, wie man es in einer ähnlichen Kette erwarten würde. Der Frühstücksraum hatte weniger als etwa 15 Tische, aber es gab kein Problem, Frühstück zu bekommen. Tatsächlich war es schön, entspannend und die Kellnerinnen waren sehr nett. Alle Kollegen im Empfangsbereich waren auch äußerst einladend und freundlich. Es wird kein anderes Essen serviert und sie planen auch nicht, welche zu servieren. Es gibt so viele Restaurants und Cafés aller Art nur wenige Schritte von der Hoteltür entfernt. Es gab bis in die frühen Morgenstunden etwas Lärm von draußen, worauf wir beim Einchecken hingewiesen hatten, aber es hat mich beim Schlafen nicht wirklich gestört – bequemes Bett. Wir haben ein schönes Wochenende mit Weihnachtseinkäufen und Weihnachtsmarkt genossen. Die Lage, so schnell wieder dorthin zu kommen, ist definitiv der größte Trumpf.

Well the hotel is alright, staff are very friendly, location is very good. Spa didn’t seem nice so we wouldn’t go. Our standard room was very small, though cozy. AC wasn’t working, luckily got a heater from the reception. Breakfast was tasty, but raw vegetables were absent (except for slightly cooked tomatoes). It was noisy in the hotel, many people, but everyone was there for the New Year eve. Parking is paid and costs 12 pounds a day - madness!

Es war glücklich, als erst in einem der Zimmer im neuen Flügel zu bleiben. Sehr sauber und komfortabel mit allen neuen Möbeln und neuen 55 Zoll TV Leider war ich nur für eine Nacht gebucht; ich kam spät und ging früh. Insgesamt ein kurzer, aber angenehmer Aufenthalt. Ich würde in Zukunft wieder reservieren, wenn ich Nottingham besuche.

The pool and spa are the best part honestly. The steam room and sauna are fantastic and the pool is very clean. The room itself was spacious and also clean, however it was rather noisy due to every door slamming closed annoyingly. The food was also not that great. All in all I think it's a real bargain for the money, I'd just bring some food.

Since we arrived in Nottingham quite early, we called the staff to see if we could check in early. The staff was very accommodating and arranged a room for us to rest. The room was spacious, with a view of the campus outside, and the mattress was extremely comfortable. There was also free parking. Overall, we were very satisfied.
