Norwalk Inn

The room was infested with bedbugs. During the first night of my stay, I experienced severe itching. At first, I thought it was an allergic reaction to the detergent used to clean the linens but in the morning I noticed small scabs on my left wrist as well as swelling and itching extending throughout my hand. I also had swelling in the temples of my head, welts on the back of my neck, and itching in my right hand. I did some research and found they are symptoms of bedbug bites, and the symptoms lasted for several days. Because of that, I had to discard the clothes I wore as well as a personal towel that was on the bed with me, and sanitize all of my other clothes. Additionally, I needed to treat the seats and trunk of my car in case any of the parasites, their eggs, and/or larvae found it's way into the vehicle. *********** will not provide a refund even though I incurred expenses to replace what I needed to discard. After the fact, I looked up the reviews on Google Maps and found I was not the only guest who experienced these parasites. I urge potential guests to reconsider whether you would want to book a room at this hotel.
