The Northallerton Inn - the Inn Collection Group

Totally exceeded all expectations from the moment we arrived. Breakfast to die for too. Word of advice, don’t do a pub crawl, you won’t make it to the end of the street there are so many places to get a drink but all old and charming and the loveliest people running them. Thank you North Allerton.

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay, staff were really welcoming and excellent service. The room was lovely and clean. Just a tip for the hotel to put radiators on before guests arrive as the room was freezing, we went for a coffee and it had warmed up by the time we got back. We will definitely return!

Another trip to Northallerton and another stay at The Northallerton Inn. Wonderful greeting on arrival, recognised as a regular guest, and superb service throughout my stay. My room was exactly as I requested at the front of the building. I would recommend to anyone.

Just terrific, a great place to stay and eat, location right in the heart of town. Food is very good with nice staff, good service and a nice atmosphere. Will be back again for more. Northallerton is a great place to visit, lots of great shops and plenty to do, with the refurbished Northallerton inn it makes it even better.

Our room was fine apart from the soulless 'care home' style adapted bathroom. This was not what we'd expect from a hotel bedroom and unsuitable / uncomfortable for able bodied customers.

The room was spacious, but unfortunately had a lingering smell of cooking oil—perhaps due to its proximity to the kitchen's extractor fan. Additionally, there was an irritating green light in the room, likely from a smoke alarm or carbon monoxide detector, which we couldn't switch off. We opted for the full English breakfast, but sadly, much of it was inedible. While the staff were generally polite, we were taken aback when a staff member laughed, rather than addressing the issue, after being informed of a decapitated bird near the back entrance.

The Northallerton Inn is in a great location. There is ample parking, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable with a lovely shower. Lots of choice for breakfast. Will definitely book again if visiting the area.

Booked a two night treat for my wife and myself costing over £300. We were expecting luxury but, unfortunately, this hotel did not give us that. There were good points. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Car park was excellent.I liked the idea of being able to avoid having the room made up in exchange for free drinks. The room itself did not live up to expectations. For what I paid I had expected a telephone, fridge and room service, none of which was available. The full English breakfast was to be avoided (which I did on my 2nd morning). Bacon was undercooked, hash brown was overcooked, scrambled egg was awful and sausage looked as if it had never seen a pan. The mushroom was delicious, however. I heard another guest say as she walked past me "That was dreadful" after having the same breakfast. We invited my son over for dinner which was another disappointment. The price charged did not match the quantity of food supplied. So few chips with my fish that they were able to hide under it. My son, who loves his burgers, said this was the smallest burger he had eaten! We had booked for this company's Morecambe Hotel but have now changed our minds and cancelled the booking

Nice hotel in a great location. Cannot understand why room 28 is classed as a functioning room when there's a generator underneath the twin bed room that gave a very loud noise throughout the night. Had a very poor night's sleep as a result!
