I went with a friend who had spotted a black Friday deal for £90. It was overnight with three meals. I had a facial treatment as well. It was an incredible package, and I didn't feel once that we were on any kind of lesser package to others. Amazing. The staff were interested, helpful and professional, especially in the restaurant. Bryony showed us to our table - made recommendations and came across as organised, approachable and warm. Libby was our waiter - who made her role professional, yet friendly. The range of food choices didn't disappoint. Delicious. Room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. I liked the separate female / male spa. The amenities were also well maintained and the whole spa achieved the ambience you expect when you stay at a spa. Lovely pool. Other reviews point to some lack of maintenance, or the resort being in need of renewal. I felt overall, it was smart and well designed. There was a worn carpet (here and there), but these details are very minor, when the resort is taken as a whole. I think the staff and their engagement in the ambience, go a long way to making a spa successful, and all the staff I met from the front desk to the cleaning staff helped make our experience relaxing, happy and successful. We visit Springs twice a year for two-night stays and love it. We’ve been coming over 30 years. This recent visit was extremely busy though and at times we struggled to find seating around the pool and the Thalassotherapy pool (which is supposed to have a maximum of 8 people) was too crowded and there were often over 20 guests in there! We wished it was managed better. The rooms hate spacious and have everything you need in them although we’re looking forward to seeing them refurbished at some point. Love the soft plush dressing gowns and huge towels. What makes Springs special for us though is the staff (although we missed seeing Annette during this visit). Libby was an attentive waitress and nothing was too much trouble for her and we felt she looked after us extremely well during our dinners. We had never experienced the spin bike room before and decided to have a go - Tom was great at explaining in the simplest terms how to get the most of our individual sessions which we thoroughly enjoyed. My husband and I both had a 50 min Body Ritual Treatment which we’d never had before. Emily and Angelica were both fantastic at delivering the treatments which were most enjoyable. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Amazing staff, in particular Alex the barista, Norma who checked me in and Ella and Libby in the restaurant. They were so kind, friendly and helpful. A very relaxing stay, lovely comfy room, great classes and nice spa area. Delicious food and good choices.

We’ve had the most incredible stay - the staff are a credit to the whole place! The service is consistently excellent and the food has been superb. We’ve had two nights here. A very special mention to Catrina - her kindness, attention to food allergies and overall soul is just incredible. Andy, the chef given his time and knowledge to help with severe food allergies and nothing was too much trouble. Libby in the restaurant in the evenings, her warmth and service again, exceptional. The communication and consistency across the service over two days has been fantastic. The refurb work so far is really lovely and much appreciated. The hotel is clean and well looked after. Stayed on numerous occasions and never been disappointed. This was no exception. Staff are ever so friendly and welcoming. Room was a good size, comfortable and a super sleep. However what was noticeable was they have clearly upped their game on the food. Best I’ve had on my stays here. Well done to Carol and the team. Would highly recommend.

The whole place is in urgent need of upgrading, the rooms spa and pool area are very dated . The staff were friendly and helpful. The food and meals were reasonable. The drinks costs were very high with limited choices. The bedroom was in poor condition. Curtains were ripped the bathroom sealant and grout was in urgent need of upgrading. The whole place was cold everywhere The walk between the hotel and pool area was cold. Radiators switched off. The changing rooms are old and dated. To be honest we were slightly disappointed with the whole place . There is very limited seating around the pool . Steam and saunas are in the changing rooms mainly . I would say though again the food choice was good and plentiful from the Sunday Buffett. We did not receive any customer type survey after the visit . The car park is a bit of a mess also potholes and looks very unkept .
