Quality Inn & Suites North Lima - Boardman

I was in Lima OH when I mistakenly booked a stay in North Lima . I was tired from working all day and thinking North Lima was the north side of Lima not a totally different city. When I should up 5 minutes later to the hotel I assume I booked since it was only 2 miles from my location at 10:30 at night . The hotel manager let me know about the mix up. I will never use this provider for any bookings nore will I stay in a Quality Inn. I purchased a stay that night being the one I accidentally booked was over 200 miles away. I really hope these 2 companies go out of business with practice to screw over customers the only way they make any income. Shouldn't take long.

Hotel worked perfectly for our purposes. Overall a nice stay. Front desk staff was friendly on check in and out. Honored our room location requests. Did not use wi-fi so can not comment. Room was 304. King Bed with small couch & coffee table, small desk, microwave and fridge (with small freezer which is nice touch). Also had a window seat. Overall cleanliness was a 6 out of 10. I always take dollar store disposable slippers when we travel and I am glad we did (never walk around hotel in socks or barefoot). The bottom of the soles showed the dirt after our couple day stay. Bathroom was mostly clean except for trim area in corners by the tub and burn mark on edge of tub (supposed to be nonsmoking hotel). This hotel is showing some age. The trim pieces on edges of coffee table, and the dresser/tv stand were pealing off. There were some stains on the cushions on the couch and the window seat. The comforter on our bed had a large stain in the corner (looked like someone spilled their drink and the stain set in and didn't completely wash out). The shower curtain rod was not fastened properly and therefore hung down slightly causing the shower curtain to not want to stay closed on the ends (wanted to slide to the middle constantly). The two drawers in the dresser/tv stand would not stay shut. If you walked past they would just open on their own for no reason - hubby wedged some paper between them to get them to stay shut (major shin buster coming around from the side of bed and running into open drawer!) The bed was firm but comfortable, the pillows were small (I always take my own so didn't use them). Was in good location for Roger's Flea Market and doing some sightseeing and other things in the area and plenty to eat in 10-20 minute drive). Breakfast both days Friday & Saturday were the same. MYO waffles, 3 kinds of cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt, juice, coffee, bananas. Enough to get you going but nothing special. No eggs, meat, etc. The price was reasonable for two night so adjusted my expectations based on this and was not disappointed.

Definitely earned 5 ⭐️s. I don’t give five stars easily to a hotel. They earned it! One of the nicest, friendliest, cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in that is in the midrange price. In every area - rooms, exterior care, pool maintenance, front desk, breakfast, and location 🙌. Breakfast was well stocked right up to closing time. Muffins, yogurt, mini waffle machine, cereals, beverages hot & cold and more. Location was great- near main roads, easy off and on, gas stations, variety of restaurants available. Pet friendly rooms- and nice outdoor area for walking.

Very small single room. A bit of an odd furniture configuration and limited space to set things down. Good breakfast for a budget property. My stay was disrupted by another guest's unattended dogs barking, but the hotel staff did their best to try and resolve the issue. Not a walkable location. Four dot grade based on a budget hotel and the price.

Served the purpose - rest & run. Got what I paid for which was reasonable. Room was small which works since I was solo. Room was clean, quiet and right off turnpike. There is a Sheetz very near fuel and food. Breakfast items are available at hotel.

Hotel feels like its in a odd location, away from other businesses, but right down the road was plenty of shops and places to eat. There was not a restaurant on site like I had read about, but they did provide a small breakfast of waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and other foods. The rooms were smaller than I had expected, but it was very quiet. We were there on a weekend where the hotel was completely booked but you couldn't tell. Overall the room was clean. I had a few issues with the sheets when we arrived, but the front staff was very nice and accommodating in getting a new set sent up right away. Overall, very good stay

Perfect overnight stop while traveling. The hotel is very close to the turnpike for easy access, but is very quiet. Front desk staff was very friendly. Room and bathroom were small - not a problem for the two of us - but also super clean and very comfortable with all the amenities that we needed. Highly recommed staying here if you are traveling in this area.

Complete dump..worthless manager..Choice Hotels and Quality Inn are definitely NOT choice or quality. Broken toilet..water spraying everywhere..manager thought it was funny..never responded to complaints made at the front desk or to messages left on the phone. Called her bum of a boyfriend to bring a wrench. Would not refund our money..did not offer another room..just laughed as we were leaving to find somewhere else to stay. DO NOT EVER BOOK AT THIS PLACE..the weeds almost reach to the second floor.

If you’re checking reviews for this hotel, you really don’t want to spend a lot for a room, which is exactly why we stated here! It’s a Quality Inn… what more can I say? You obviously get what you pay for in life so if you’re looking for an average, cheap room, this place will do. We only needed a bed and shower for 1 night passing though and it had a bed. Not the cleanest, but not the worst. Towels are paper thin but again, it’s a Quality Inn. Shower curtain was stained. Some of the towels were stained. Tissue box fell out of wall every time you grabbed a tissue. Room ceiling had multiple marks/stains. Breakfast had plenty of options- waffles, toast, cereal, microwave sandwiches, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola bars, orange juice, apple juice, coffee. The chairs in the breakfast were all filthy though so we sat on napkins. Not the best, not the worst, but fine if you want a cheap room.
