While our overall stay at Oakwood Jakarta was enjoyable, the lack of a warm welcome was disappointing. The receptionist working between 8-9 PM on October 17th, 2024, wasn’t friendly or smiling, which left us with a poor first impression. She also didn’t provide any information about the hotel’s facilities – we weren’t told how to access the pool, the restaurants, or any other amenities. It felt like we were left to figure things out on our own.
This was especially surprising after spending 10 days in Bali, where everyone went out of their way to smile, offer help with our bags, and make sure we were comfortable. At Oakwood, no one even asked if we needed assistance with our luggage.
Despite the disappointing service, the hotel itself was great. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location is also a huge plus – just a 10-minute walk to PIK Avenue and around 23 minutes from the airport, making it super convenient.
If the service at the front desk were improved, this hotel could easily be a top-tier choice. For now, I’d still recommend it for its comfort, location, and overall facilities – just be prepared for a less-than-warm welcome.

Alles ist ok.. es ist nur eine Schande, dass von Anfang an, ich nicht die Informationen, dass die Buchung durch diese Anwendung nicht Amethyst oder Zahnbürste Lieferungen etc. erhalten konnte. Als ich fragte, wurde ich erläutert und konnte Amethyst 10.000 für 2 Personen zahlen, wenn Sie es hören. Ich wollte nur den nächsten Tag überprüfen, wenn ich von Anfang an in den Informationen war, hätte ich 10.000 für den Amethyst gewählt.

Die Umgebung ist sehr gut, aber der Service macht die Menschen sehr feuerig, weil das Hotel auf der Insel ist und dringende Bedürfnisse haben, um Hilfe an der Rezeption zu suchen, aber es gibt fünf Anrufe, die niemand antwortet, nachdem sie angeschlossen wurden, gelogen und das Geräusch ist absichtlich sehr schwach und die Menschen sehr feuerig, während es sehr einfach ist, in das Zimmer zu kommen, Das hintere Balkon ist mit Problemen verschlossen, ist immer nicht gut verschlossen, im Allgemeinen ist es kein gutes Erlebnis.

Location is strategic, easy to find cab, accomodate by free shuttle bus (wira wiri), spacious parking area (free). The staff are very nice, very helpful & kind 🙏👍. The room is clean, neat. Bathroom is fine, clean & complete amenities. I just didnt expect the swimming pool is full of kids, but its fine. Thanks Mercure Hotel 🙏🙏👍

Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und gut ausgestattet, bietet ein komfortables Bett und große Stadtblicke. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und professionell, immer bereit, mit jeder Anfrage zu helfen. Die Einrichtungen des Hotels, einschließlich eines Fitnesszentrums, Pools und leckere Mahlzeiten, wurden zu der Gesamterfahrung hinzugefügt. Ob für Geschäfts- oder Freizeit, empfehle ich dem El Hotel Jakarta für einen luxuriösen und sauberen Aufenthalt.

During my stay, the hotel was packed with students and children and the noise level is so much high even past midnight. Room sound proofing was almost 0. Will not stay again unless no other choice.

The lounge area at the 9th floor was very pathetic and not cozy enough.
Room was great except for missing lights near the table area which was dim especially during the night
Please install some light near the table n TV area.
Breakfast selection was very limited as well.
Will stay at this hotel when we come the next time.

NNaurahHad a pleasant stay here. Amenities were great, place is beautiful and clean. However, they don’t provide early luggage drop offs/luggage storage which is really troublesome. Hope they’ll improve on this. Another thing is the shower door no matter how shut it is there will always be some water going outside to the floor of toiletseat/sink. This made things a little icky because i prefer dry toilet. Other than that, wonderful!would stay here again
