"I’ve been fortunate enough to be well travelled and stayed in hundreds of hotels but this one is one of the best. The little details make this place so special. The accommodation was of exceptional quality with a massive bathroom, the room was spacious but so cosy I was asleep by 9.30! The food was delicious, the quality was outstanding and so lovely to see the chef taking real pride in what he does. The service was amazing, the waitresses and management were so accommodating and went above and beyond for us. This is the best value for a hotel, we hope to be back v soon!!"

"Our accessible room was clean and tidy! Small single beds although tiny were very comfortable. NB you might need a 5mtr extension lead as no plug sockets near the beds or bedside lamps. Take one of you need your phone by your bedside or a medical machine (CPAP) close by to where you sleep. There's no smart TV, just a Freeview TV. No HDMi to hook a phone or laptop up to it. No fridge or Fan which could be a problem in summer months? The accessible room was spotlessly clean, smelt fresh! Beds were high enough for people with mobility issues just a bit narrow. Think 2/3rds single, not a full single. I believe you can zip them together to make one small double? The only problem we had was the noise from other guests during the night! As our room was an accessible room it was ground floor and situated very close to the main doors which meant every half an hour ISH all night long there was a constant flow of smokers and vapers stood right outside our window. I prefer the window cracked a wee bit to let some night air in, this was impossible as the smell of smoke and vape juice was too strong and the smokers chatting away kept us awake as they smoke literally 5 steps from the window! Even with the window closed we could hear everything and it kept us awake most of the night every half hour or so. Not the hotels fault, just residents with no concerns for others trying to sleep. I am a smoker myself so I understand their need but why do it right outside people's windows is beyond me?? From what I heard these were "long term" residents!!! Would we stay here again??? Maybe? As long as we could choose not to be by the main front door, if that's a possibility being an accessible room I'm not so sure??? (BTW We stayed in Room 2) The staff were helpful and friendly, not much they can do to stop the constant flow of smokers and vapers during the night and no other accessible rooms available! If your staying here? Do your homework! Choose your room wisely and take a 5mtr extension lead! Other than that! It's clean, tidy, decent carpark, food outlets very close too! NB when your driving here, take the "Services" exit off the island! The Travelodge entrance is behind the petrol station."

"Hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Typisch Englisch Meereshotel. Nicht modern, aber fühlte sich sehr gemütlich und heimlich. Lynne auf der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und willkommen. Wir mussten früh vor dem Frühstück am nächsten Morgen aufstehen, so dass wir nicht denken, wir würden einen, der verständlich ist, aber Lynne ging oben und darüber und bereitete uns ein kochiertes Frühstück mit Apfelsaft und Tee früher als die Frühstückszeiten, die wir waren Sehr dankbar für. Ich bin coeliac und Lynne konnte ganz viel aller Artikel gluten kostenlos zu bieten! Sausages, Hashbraunen, Toast alle GF zusammen mit den üblichen Eiern, Bacon, Bohnen. Das Frühstück war ace das beste Frühstück, das ich in einer langen Zeit hatte! Sehr geschmackvoll und gut gekocht. Frühstück auch im Preis inbegriffen. Hatte einen komfortablen Aufenthalt im Zimmer und das Badezimmer ist nett. geräumig und sauber. Kostenloser Parkplatz auch. würde sicherlich wieder bleiben."
