Delta Hotels Norfolk Airport

The room was nice and clean and the staff was nice. It's reasonably priced, also. It's a great location close to the airport but not convenient for downtown. The smoking area is right in front, also, so we were always passing through smoky people.

A short trip had me visit this new to me Marriott Brand hotel. The location was the main driver. It was close enough to where I needed to be. That being said, the location was not in the center of everything so be prepared to drive to wherever you might want to go. Appearances and first impressions matter and I'll start by saying it is a very nice looking hotel and the place was kept very clean. The front desk staff was friendly and they even provided both bottles of water and flavor drops to add into them to help with your mood. Apologies I cannot remember the name of these solid cube drops. Rooms were reasonable sized and also kept clean and clear. I was thrilled to not have any Wifi issues as I had during a previous trip elsewhere. I didn't have a chance to use the pool, however, while small, the gym had everything you needed (including extra bottles of water). Prices were reasonable. As someone else noted, it was disappointing to have to pay for parking. Also as someone else noted, the elevator was slow, so find those stairs if you can. Net - worth a stay if you need to be in the area.

We stayed here on an overnight to move my son into college. Overall experience was excellent. The lobby was clean and the staff was exceptional. Really refreshing to enter a location and be greeted with a smile. There was an issue with the original room we had but brought it to staff and was accommodated with another room immediately! The hotel does have areas that look like they need a little renovation (like paint) but those little things are minor. Room was clean bed and pillows were great and the staff makes up for anything that might need a little improvement. Area is in a great location and we do plan on coming back Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

Fairly nice hotel that is a convenient short distance to the airport. Staff was friendly at check in and the room was clean and comfortable. Nothing super fancy but was a nice stay for the location. Only complaint was a very slow single elevator. Place has a bar/restaurant as your walk in that looked appealing but I had to be up early and didn't have time to go. Would consider this location again if flying out of Norfolk airport.

Everyone from the beginning to the end were top notch. My flight was delayed and they did not hesitate to make me comfortable to get a shuttle to the hotel. Now I have to mention the overnight shuttle driver and I apologize for not getting his name I was tired and hungry. He took me to get some food near by to go after he got permission.. He was awesome and I bought his dinner as a thank you. He'll know who he is. Reception was stellar. I'm already looking forward to my next stay next year if I fly in for vacation to the beach again.

Nicely updated room with a modern lobby. The staff was pleasant. I was just a bit surprised they charged $5 for parking. I understand it’s an airport hotel but it does not justify the charge. The lighting in the corridor is bright and the light goes under the door, maybe they should dim the light a bit.

Great Stay. Hotel is updated and clean, contemporary direction throughout. Stayed 1 night for an interview in Norfolk. Was able to get a late checkout so could stop back and change before getting on road for 3 trip home. Pool and exercise room are clean. Stayed in a 2 queen suite. There's a seperate bedroom with 2 queen beds and large flat-screen screen TV. In main area couch and arm chair, large flat-screen tv, small island with 3 chairs to sit at, kitchen with microwave, Pod coffee maker and fridge. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Towels are super soft. Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room to stretch out if have family with you. Had access to pantry on 5th floor as part of rate. Nice selection of snacks, juices, soda, water and yogurt in afternoon. In morning there's a nice selection of muffins,bagels, breads, coffee, soda, milk, and yogurt. Good location off Military Hwy, a bit confusing when coming off 64 East in the dark.

The entire staff has been wonderful. However there was an incident this morning, where the police had to be called because of a belligerent guest and Miss Valerie handled it so professionally she should be commended. Although it got scary she stayed calm which made all of us other guests that experienced it calm as well. I appreciate the wonderful service.

Hotel is great except......it's an airport hotel and they charge$30/day parking after 3 days. I understand charging a fee, but highest price to park overnight at Norfolk airport is only $11. Am I missing something? This is a huge ripoff to loyal customers (I am platinum Marriott and ALWAYS choose Marriott hotels). Is it possible I was misquoted by front desk agent?
