Clean rooms! Close to the beach!

Traveled with my mom for a mom and daughter trip. Hotel was clean, our room had plenty of room, pool area was nice and clean. We didn't use the grills they had available for guests. The staff was friendly, breakfast was ok. Seemed to be only one person managing breakfast each morning and a few mornings they were out of items. Written info in our room said they would clean the room every other day by default, but our room was only cleaned once. I guess you will have to ask other wise. We also had to ask for towels multiple times. Once I asked a house keeping staff member and she told me we had to ask the front desk for towels eventhough she had them on her cleaning cart. Overall, our stay was pleasant. I would stay again!

First hassle happened when I arrived llate evening and selected the digital online room thinking he was giving me the key to the room I chose but instead he gave me a different room so key did not work. Once I got in the room there was a large desk without a roller on the leg in the middle of the room. I asked it to be removed but they never bothered so it sat there. TV would not turn on as I was told it was satellite but turns out there was a loose cable. No paper towels in the kitchen. Shampoo bottle completely empty. These people do not prepare rooms and could care less about fixing issues. Horrible experience so I left early. Never book this hotel unless you’re ok with the crappy service I was given.

They were the rudest people I ever dealt with I am Hilton honors member since 2008. The people at the front desk were so rude my nephew booked rooms for us because we were down there for a surprise party for my niece. He went over and booked the rooms put it on his credit card he is a Hilton honors member went to check in the first girl said to me what’s your name? I said Butch Griffith she looked it up and said you have to have your nephew come over here and sign you in. I said what this is a surprise party for his wife a 60th birthday party he booked four rooms there, then the general manager come over and said wait a minute wait a minute I see it here what’s your name? I said Butch Griffith she says not under Butch Clarence Griffith. I said they call me Butch I see your credentials. I showed them to her she said well then we can let you in the room, but I’m gonna have to change the name to Clarence show me some ID and I did, so should never happen. I stayed a lot of Hilton. This was the worst experience I ever had when never ever go back there again.

Perfect spot! Walkable to the beach, multiple restaurants with walking distance with patios, music and great food. Staff are excellent and kind. Pool has two Q’s to work with and we did! Full fridges, dishwasher and real plates made it great for our 6 night stay!

Pillows are okay. “Queen” beds are a joke, looks more like my children’s full. They’re pretty hard & uncomfortable. Comforter is scratchy. Sheets aren’t too bad. The room is dated, and the kitchenette and bathroom area didn’t look like it’d been cleaned. That’s the worst part. The floor had stray hairs, food particles, black smudges, the toilet had stray hairs and random particles, the rubbed looked like someone stood in it while still wet with dirty feet. I won’t walk in there without shoes. The door has something caked on under the handle like food particles or something and there was a stray hair on the outside of the door. This shocked me, esp given the $$$. I’m writing this at 5:40 a.m. after my child has been rolling around for over an hr trying to get comfortable.

Had a wonderful stay at this Nokomis Home2Suites that is near Venice and a 18-20 minute walk to the beach. The breakfast was the standard Hilton fare but well managed and nicely served. They have someone making the waffles for you. The room was very clean and had a full refrigerator so you could keep drinks and snacks handy. enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very friendly, the pool is great, the room is the typical Home2Suites room with kitchenette. Breakfast left a lot to be desired food - often ran out of foods, food was old, etc. Just not the best of breakfast options associated with a Hilton. Room linens were stained and dirty, but we did not discover until as we were leaving which really, really was a downer. Stained bed sheets, stained pillow cases, stained towels, and that just was a disgusting way to end the trip.
