The property is accessed via 3 flights of stairs and the climb is well worth the effort.When the surf is up watching the surfers and swimmers from the apartment windows is a magical experience and if you want to join in the surfing or swimming you can make your way down to the beach. Towan beach is accessed from steps down from the green and when the tide is out you can walk across to Newquay Harbour and watch the fisherman unload the boats or buy fresh seafood. The beach can also be reached from a set of steps immediately in front of The Old Edwardian.The penthouse apartment has an amazing view of the Island House. Island House has some very interesting history and was sold by Lord and Lady Long in 2012. Lord Long was a government whip in the Lords from l979 leaving in 1997 when John Major was defeated.
