The boss is nice, had an argument about beer that I definatley paid for that they said I didnt, but the boss handled it well. The location is good for eating while looking at the pyramids, terrible for anything else. Horses , camels, taxis, people trying to scam you, starving kids chasing you. Not a fan of Egypt and very very unlikely to return

I stayed for three nights. It's only a one-minute walk to the entrance of the Pyramids on the east side. The breakfast on the rooftop with a view of the Pyramids was amazing. The cleanliness of the room was not perfect, but it wasn't dirty either. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I think it offers excellent value for money.

Room is clean and the bath water is hot.
Here you can meet many new friends, especially having breakfast on the roof top. And you can go to the city centre (8-12min walks) to have some local food and sweets.
Nice location to enjoy the pyramids.
but the hair dryer is broken :(

The room is nice the staff Mariam and Sayed at the front desk are so helpful. The room was nice and the view from the room was stunning. Thank you. I stayed in room 305, the view from the room was so beautul face directly to the Pyramid of Giza. You may see the sunrise and also sunset from the restaurant of this hotel in the rooftop called Akemi restaurant. The breakfast also good Worth of Money and nice🙏

Fantastic value. Pretty basic but clean and comfortable. The big plus here is the team running it. It’s a family and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Food and beer if you wish is brought in except breakfast which is done in house and is delicious but simple. The views are amazing, you’re yards from the pyramids gate, but some local construction has intruded just a bit. A previous review mentioned the state of the lane accessing the hotel. This has now been sorted and it’s now paved (the owners of a few local properties clubbed together to get it done) and very clean. I’d strongly recommend you book all your trips through the owner Mohammed. OK, you’ll probably pay a bit more but the guys he uses as guides and drivers are trusted friends or family and it’s in his interest to not organise a bad day out. Rambo in particular was great. Corruption and hassling tourists is big ticket stuff here, using trusted guys will ensure you don’t get ripped off when out and about. You’ll save money and grief in the long run! Overall, great value, lovely people, basic but safe, clean and I’d be back in a heartbeat. Thanks to all the team there for a wonderful experience.

Great family run guest house. Helpful owner and staff. Peaceful at night. Great views when having breakfast and in the evening. Very authentic. We stayed 2 nights to visit the pyramids and the museum. The host was great about us checking in in the night. Helped us sort out taxis into the city and generally made us feel at home.

Great Airport Pick-up from the Hotel for 400EGP plus 30-50EGP Tip for driver. The place is in a small side street in a private secured 5store house. From the roof top you have view to the pyramids. Up there they serve also the morning breakfast. The Royal Inn is run by 3 brothers and their wifes so you feel like in big family👍🥰 A great sunsine you have at the roof top. The owners are extremely polite and courteous they help you also with tours to book. Rambo helped us with ATV/Quad Sunset Tour. The room will be cleaned by request. The WIFI in the room was fast. You are at walking distance from the Pyramids Entrance (Ticket 240EGP for tourists and 40EGP for locals). Lot's of local offering trips or activities like horse or camel riding behind the house or inside the Pyramids also ATV/Quad bikes (advice to negotiate the prices f.e. 1hour horse or camel riding they may ask you 350 --＞ 500EGP per person and you may get it for 150 - 250EGP per hour/person). Those who like to try egyptian cuisine you can find a lot after or near the big road. Also Indian and some European restaurant. Taxis and private cars also avalable near by to rent included driver: Daily Price about 1000EGP = 40USD for 6 - 8hours to visit Cairo. We come back again Rene and Liz IG: renepeter57 👍🥰
