The Napa Inn

Great bed & breakfast within less than a 5 minute walk to downtown Napa. Service was outstanding as the staff was very flexible. They accommodated me with the check in process while I was exploring downtown Napa & helped me store my bags on my checkout as I was taking a red-eye flight home. Rooms are great with a vintage feel!

I was looking forward to a fantastic birthday weekend in Napa and had chosen Napa Inn Downtown based on the reviews. Upon arrival, we waited over 30 minutes in the lobby without being greeted or assisted by any staff. When someone finally did attend to us, the experience already felt off, as customer service was subpar. The disappointment grew when we were taken to our room. To my surprise, the bathroom was completely open with no privacy at all. This was particularly frustrating because I had called ahead of time to confirm that the bathroom was private and spacious enough, and was assured that it was. Feeling uncomfortable with the setup, we immediately raised a complaint and requested a refund, to which the hotel agreed. However, the experience worsened when I received a call a day later, after already moving to another hotel, informing me that they would not honor the refund. The lack of professionalism and misleading information tainted what was supposed to be a special birthday weekend. I would not recommend this hotel based on their poor service and dishonest communication.

As we were waiting on the porch to check in, my first impression was that it was not well kept. There were cobwebs, debris on the porch and the wicker furniture needed a fresh coat of paint. As we were greeted I didn’t feel particularly welcomed. It was a “lukewarm” welcome as if we had interrupted her. We chose Angelina’s Garden Cottage. This is separate from the main house. The room was clean and decorated nicely. The small garden area is very nice. I don’t recommend renting this room unless you want to listen to the washer and dryer running at 9:00 p.m. The washing machine was against the wall that the tub is on. The bathroom hot water faucet leaked. We chose the Romance add on for $95. For that we got 2 souvenir wine glasses, truffles from Anette's Chocolate and a bottle of Seaglass Cabernet Sauvignon. The truffles were delicious, the wine wasn’t anything special as you can purchase in any grocery store. The breakfast was nothing special. The coffee was very good and they offered 2 juices. The starter was fresh fruit. Yogurt and granola was available to add. We chose the breakfast sandwich and avocado toast. The English muffin and sourdough bread were not toasted. My husband enjoyed his breakfast sandwich. The second morning we had eggs Benedict and breakfast sandwich. Once again the breads were not toasted and there were barely any sauce on my eggs Benedict. We both agreed that we would not stay here again.

My twin sister and I had a lovely stay at The Napa Inn and Spa. The General Managers Celia and Randy and their assistants,Emily and Jennifer were very gracious and very accommodating. They constantly were checking to make sure everything met our expectations. They had several breakfast choices and breakfast was always delicious and served with smiling faces. When we had car trouble that required us to extend our stay they immediately worked it out for us. We would highly recommend The Napa Inn and Spa and definitely would stay here again.

This is what all Bed & Breakfasts should aspire to be. The property was built in the late 1800’s, thus has the charm, but has also been professionally maintained to a high standard. The staff is as wonderful as the accommodations. The breakfast is exceptional and warms the soul before setting out to indulge in the region’s many offerings. The rooms are a delight to arrive to after a long day out. The beds and linens are exactly what you want to fall into and the next mornong, you wake up to the amazing staff and breakfast again…sheer bliss.

A beautiful Victorian home in a quiet neighborhood with centuries-old trees shading the front- perfect for sipping or reading. The rooms are well appointed with great beds and pillows and a large bathroom with clawfoot tub. The breakfasts are wonderful with high quality food, locally sourced and perfectly prepared. The time before breakfast is great for sipping coffee and meeting fellow travelers . There’s a personal touch here that you wont get at a large resort or hotel. Book it… you can thank me later. Be sure to eat at least once at Mustard’s Grill and book your wine tasting at the boutique winery- Sinegal’s. You’ll have a great time in Napa Valley!

We booked this two months prior to our arrival date. We had to cancel soon after due to change in plans. The hotel charged us $50 to cancel even though it was two months prior to our arrival! The hotel stated this was in the email confirmation sent after booking which we never received. Terrible customer service and we will never book this hotel again! And giving others a heads up as this is unacceptable! Plenty of other hotels in Napa to stay.

What a cute little quaint B&B, a short walk to downtown Napa and Napa Vallet expo, it was my husband's first experience at a B&B everything from the check in to check out, everyone we encountered were very kind and helpful Teresa the housekeeper is the sweetest. The breakfast omg so good I will definitely be staying here again only bad thing stay of the first floor if you can't carry luggage up the stairs we were on the third floor.

Staff was helpful upon checkin but we never got a response for other matters and very disappointed, especially concerning misplaced toiletries/medicines as they did not respond whatsoever as to my enquiry and comments on discomfortfort in the room with what was perceived as minimal care for furniture in the room.
