We were quite disappointed with our stay. It did not live up to our expectations for a 4 star hotel. The pictures did not accurately reflect the rooms. The common areas of the hotel were nice but the rooms were dirty and run down, particularly the bathrooms. The beds were also very firm with cheap and thin bedding. Compared to other four star places we have stayed the service was just okay, nothing negative but nothing above and beyond. Our favorite thing about the hotel was the location, it was close to everything and we really enjoyed being able to walk to dinner and many other things but I think there are better places in the area for a similar price point.

I am absolutely appalled by my recent stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that customer service was far from a priority. When we checked in, the staff were rude, dismissive, and utterly unwelcoming. There was a woman anxiously waiting to check out, desperate not to miss her ferry, yet the staff ignored her repeated requests for assistance and told her to wait. It was only after I insisted that they serve her first, to avoid her missing her transfer, that they reluctantly did so. There was no greeting with joy, no offer of water, no orientation around the resort, no map provided, and not a single word about Paros. Adding to the chaos, we requested the hotel to keep our passports safe while we went out for the day since it was too early to check in. However, when we returned that evening, a different staff member couldn’t locate our passports. He said he didn’t have access to the safe and didn’t know where they were. I was beside myself with worry, knowing that being without our passports could leave us stranded. After much insistence, he made a call and handed us an envelope, supposedly with our passports inside. To our absolute shock and horror, when we opened the envelope the next day, it contained not our passports, but someone’s portable charger! To make matters worse, when we finally got to our room, it was clear that cleanliness was not a concern for this establishment either. To our shock and disgust, we found piles of someone else's hair—wet, clumped, and scattered—on the shower floor and all over the room. This was beyond unacceptable; it was outright unsanitary. I immediately went to the front desk to report the issue, expecting a prompt resolution. Instead, I was met with indifference. The man at the desk informed me that there was nothing he could do because he was the only staff member available, and both the manager and cleaners were off duty. He casually mentioned that they could "only help tomorrow." How is this acceptable? Frustrated and still without a clean room, I went back to the desk and insisted that this situation needed to be resolved immediately. I paid for a clean, comfortable stay, not to deal with someone else's filth. I made it clear that it was not my responsibility to clean up this mess, but the staff seemed unconcerned about the basic standards of hygiene and customer care. To make matters worse, when my travel agent called to complain on my behalf, the hotel’s response was shockingly rude and dismissive. Instead of apologizing or attempting to rectify the situation, they asked why we chose to stay at their hotel if we were unhappy with the conditions. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability is mind-boggling. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice. If you value cleanliness, customer service, or even basic human decency, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I have ever had, and I

I have never been treated as poorly as I was at this hotel. Our experience was so upsetting that I feel compelled to warn others. We stayed here for several nights, and while the location was nice, everything else was far from it. First, the staff, particularly the woman at the front desk who worked the morning and daytime shifts, was unbelievably rude and unpleasant from the moment we arrived. On our first day, we arrived early and understood that the rooms weren’t ready, but the way we were treated was unacceptable. When I asked for towels so we could head to the beach, I was met with resistance. Despite the room being paid for and providing my credit card for incidentals, the woman refused to give us towels until she grudgingly made a call and handed them over with a miserable attitude. No apology, no courtesy—just hostility. The experience only got worse when we had a power outage in one of our rooms. My children were left in a pitch-black room with no working fan, no air conditioning, and no way to charge their phones for the long travel day ahead. When I tried to get help, no one answered the front desk, and when I walked over, the office was completely closed. We were forced to cram four people into my room because of the complete lack of assistance. The next morning, when I tried to resolve the issue at checkout, the same front desk woman brushed off my concerns and refused to take any responsibility. She kept asking irrelevant questions like whether the power was back on, completely ignoring the fact that the issue wasn’t solved when it mattered—when my children needed a place to sleep. Her attitude was dismissive and disrespectful. When I asked what she planned to do, her response was, “Nothing. Even if you weren’t here, your room is paid for, so I don’t have to do anything.” She couldn’t have been more unprofessional. To top it off, when I mentioned that I would be contacting my travel agent, who is well-respected within the Greek community back home, she bluntly said, “I don’t care.” As I was writing this review, she came back to toss a business card into my food, telling me to email if I had any complaints. The sheer lack of decency and professionalism is appalling. As for the hotel itself, it was a nightmare. You can hear everything—people walking up and down the stairs, doors slamming, and guests talking and shouting throughout the night. The grounds around the pool were extremely slippery; we slipped multiple times. Not a single bottle of water was provided in the rooms, and there were “no smoking” signs in the lobby, yet staff constantly smoked just steps away from the entrance, with the doors left open so the smell of cigarettes flooded the lobby. Our room was near the lobby, so every time we walked by, we had to pass through clouds of cigarette smoke, which left our clothes and hair smelling like smoke. Housekeeping was just as disappointing. The bed sheets were clearly never changed—there was sand in them every night. A

What a crappy hotel. 4 stars my a$$. My wife said the comfort inn in Cleveland was nicer. The room ******. The bathroom was a joke. Stayed in what they called a quadruple junior suite. More like a youth hostel. Only one person could use the bathroom and I had to wait outside while my daughters changed. No one should stay here. The photos on the website are very deceptive. The place smells like ant repellent. The room wasn’t cleaned and my daughter had to make her bed. Again what a joke. Breakfast ****** too. No place to unpack, but we had a desk. Wasn’t planning on writing while on Paros.

We can’t recommend Zefi Hotel enough. We stayed here for a week in June and the hotel is beautiful. An amazing breakfast spread, stunning pool (they offer pool towels), lots of spaces to relax with comfy lounge chairs. Our room was stunning and very comfortable. It includes a safe and they gave us an iron, ironing board and hairdryer which we kept for our whole stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful and organised taxis for us, and car rentals. If you’re coming to Paros we, Zefi Hotels is a great place to stay!

The location of this hotel was a huge plus …10 minute walk from town with shops and seaside dining yet away from the bustle of the crowds. We had a few ‘snags’ when we arrived but the staff (John)worked very hard to correct any issues we encountered. The pool area is lovely with a bar to refresh oneself. And the breakfast buffet was outstanding! The rooms were spacious and clean . We would return again.

The hotel is nice however the family room they gave us is a cave with no windows, no sun light, no balcony. They told us it has a jacuzzi but it has only hot water. Some of the staff are friendly, others are taking advantage of the guests. We asked for a taxi to Lefkes, at the reception we were told 40euros and we thought its expensive, she told us it's fixed price, then we said we prefer to call a cab 🚖 so she reduced the costs to 35 then to 30 euros 🤔 We paid 20 euros for laundry however when we received the clothes back they were not ironed!! While we checked out at 11, we were waiting to leave to the airport, we didn't have access to the toilets, there was only 1 shared toilet for men and women!!! However the breakfast was good, the pool is really nice!! The lady and the gentleman at the bar are very nice !!

Zefi is a well-located and well-run small hotel in Nouassa, Paros island. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient always. A good breakfast is served and there is a nice selection of drinks and light meals. Moraitis winery is very close by and well worth visiting for tastings.
