Hampton Inn Nanuet

Honestly, it's a typical average Hampton Inn. Nothing exceptionally good, nothing terrible. My quality of sleep was a little poor, as I think the blowers for the AC/Heat were either above or adjacent to my room, and could be easily heard during the night, even when my AC/Heat was off. When my AC/Heat was on, WOW IT WAS NOISY ! Most of the front desk were friendly, but one of the ladies that was on a night shift when I arrived, and the next evening, was more interested in her phone than any guest :O Overall, I'd probably try the Hilton Garden Inn, or another brand of hotel, next time I'm in the area.

Room was very clean, had a mini fridge and microwave which we did not expect to have and the staff are very nice. Issues started before even pulling into the parking lot, we were not able to check in via the app like we were supposed to be able to do, something we wanted to do since it was late, we just wanted to go to sleep. The TV remote was missing from the room entirely and the staff were very helpful in finding and bringing us a replacement which was nice. The secondary lock feature on the door was coming off because the screws were insanely loose, which is one of many reasons why I recommend buying added hotel locks from amazon, so wherever you travel you can up your security. The heat was on in the room and no matter what we did, it refused to lower in temperature so none of us had a good sleep. When we woke up, we saw that the windowsill was flooded with water, condensation covered the whole glass, and there was water all over the floor below it. The breakfast was the usual you would expect from a hotel, so no complaints there really. Overall, the technological advancements they are trying to offer here, aren't working, and it's only this one location that has all these troubles according to the google reviews. The friendly staff and cleanliness are enough to stay here again, especially if this location is super convenient for you, but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this location.

Anthony was AWESOME!! I was in New York for the holidays and towards the end of my trip I caught what I believe was a virus. The Hotel where I was staying did not have any additional rooms and could not extend my checkout time. I had to change my departure flight and book a room last minute at Hampton Inn Nanuet. I was extremely under the weather and needed rest so that I could focus on getting better. Anthony could see and hear that I was not in great shape (it was also raining ) and was able to assist with early check in, and I am so grateful!! He even handed my family member tissue for me and assisted with allowing me time to check out the following day. He even mentioned that I sounded a bit better. Anthony’s kindness helped me in a rime need and I thank him so much for that! The location and rooms were perfect for our needs.

Worst Hampton Inn ever. Check-in was less than friendly or informative. We weren't even provided with information about accessing the internet. We had requested an accessible room which we were provided. Upon entering the room, the bathroom was dirty with stains on the shower floor and tile floor. We were awakened before 5am by banging against the headboard. I found out when I left the room that our bedroom backed up to the kitchen and the breakfast staff began preparing for breakfast at 5am. The cabinet doors were not soft close, nor did they have bumpers to soften the sound. The banging went on for the entire morning. My husband went to work out and I took a shower. When I got out of the shower, the entire bathroom was flooded so badly that the water had flowed into the entryway. Having a construction background, I first noticed that the roll-in shower pan (with no lip) was higher than the tile floor. The shower pan was not angled for the water to flow into the drain so the only place it could go was out into the bathroom. The bathroom floor angled towards the hallway so the water continued to flow out. I dried up as much as I could and when my husband came back, I told him what had happened. (Fortunately I didn't slip and fall as I had recently had surgery.) I told my husband to be careful but during his shower, the same thing happened. The entire bathroom floor flooded and there was soapy water running into the entryway. We reported it to the front desk who informed us that there was no manager on duty. They did send a friendly maintenance man to our room. We questioned Jose as to whether this had been a problem in the past. He hesitated and then claimed that the room was newly renovated. The stains on the shower floor prove differently. Additionally, the bathroom door had been crudely shortened and there were still water stains and the door was still swollen from leaking water. There was no hairdryer in our room but maybe that was because the hotel knew we would get electrocuted if we used one while standing in a huge puddle of water. This hotel was more than UNSAFE. It was filthy. The ice bucket had the plastic bag hanging over the edge but it had melted ice in the bottom with a package of wet gum in it, leftover from a prior guest. The hotel looks like they are cutting corners. The juice was watered down. The coffee was very weak and there was no fruit at the breakfast station (even though there is in the pictures). We have been traveling for the past several days. We generally stay at Hampton Inns or Homewood Suites. This is the worst Hampton Inn ever and certainly not up to Hampton Inn standards. I asked for a call from the hotel manager. I have not received one so now I will contact the New York Hotel Complaint line to have them follow up on the safety concerns I have with this hotel. I will also find a website where I can post my pictures.

Claudia and Cynthia were so accommodating during a family emergency this week (even during Thanksgiving). Accessible and convenient for so many things. Continental breakfast each morning was great. Who doesn't love a Belgian waffle everyday? Thank you!

We had a very pleasant day at this hotel this past weekend. The room was clean, the hotel was accommodating, checking went smoothly, and everything went very well. We would definitely use this hotel again when we are visiting the area in the future.

Stayed in a king room. Loved that there is no carpeting. Room is new,clean and large. Hotel has been remodeled. The bed was a bit lumpy, and breakfast selection was small. Plenty of parking and lots of restaurants on the area. All staff I encountered were incredibly kind! Overall was a good stay, I’d stay again!

The bed and TV were fantastic! The problem was the location and the address on their website. We were trying to find the hotel using the website. We clicked on the web link for directions and it took us to the wrong location. We tried several times driving around in the rain trying to find it. We finally called the hotel and they gave us verbal directions. once there they told us Hilton was aware of the problem and were trying to fix it. That's not good enough.

Worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in. The door to the room was broken, room was is poor condition. The free breakfast ran out of OJ. Would not recommend. And cost was $200 for one night! The room didn’t even have towels! Had to go to front desk to get them. I have traveled quite a bit and this was the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed out. Avoid this place.
