Mt Duneed Estate

Fabulous pods with everything thought of. Beautiful and peaceful setting, very private. The units are well laid out and extremely comfortable. It was particularly cold outside but very snug inside with the heater on and inviting with the pillows and throws. Little kitchenette was well equipped for teas coffee and breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend. The restaurant serves exceptional food

If you can imagine yourself staying in a glammed-up cabin with a modern bathroom, bedroom & dining area - then this is for you. The pods are very clean & have all the mod cons you can imagine. All bathroom amenities are supplied - all you need to pack are your clothes. It was a cold & windy weekend when we attended but we felt safe the whole time we were there. We heard the wind outside but the pod is very strong & secure. (You can even park your car just outside the door.) The heater worked really well & extra blankets were provided. The fridge was stocked with milk, butter, water bottles, juice bottles & yogurt. Muesli & a loaf of bread were also provided, along with jam & Vegemite. The best part is you don’t even need to check in or out. You just press a button on your phone & the pod will unlock. They’re well spread out so there’s plenty of room between each one & you don’t hear any noise from any of the other pods. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

The view is great, the place is great. My partner and me was so enjoy, is just the spa bath is not private enough. Hope the spa can be more private or move in to the room because people whose going is mostly are couple or family they want to lot of private moment together

We really enjoyed our stay! The pod amenities were lovely and modern, the beds were comfy, the brekkie provided was lovely as well with granola / yoghurts / orange juice and a few other bits. I particularly loved the outdoor bath and small touches like make up face wipes and hair tie/shower cap combo. The hosts were super lovely when we asked for late check out and were happy to accomodate us. We did a wine tasting at the cellar door which was yummy and we got 30% off the wines as guests. The only 2 things that would make it 5 stars for me are slipper/bathrobes - would have been a dream coming out of the hot bath into the cool air and having something like that to put on. Then also bit of a clean of the outside terrace area as it had lots of cobwebs.

Absolutely perfect stay at Mt Duneed Estate. The room contained everything we needed and the view of the vineyard was breathtaking, the accommodation was easy to find and access, and the included bottles of wine, cheese platter and breakfast was lovely. I highly recommend staying here.

The pod was beautifully prepared before an evening arrival so it was cosy on entry. Well appointed space including pod coffee and breakfast provisions. The surrounding landscape was calming and quiet during the relaxing breakfast start to our day.

Stayed in a Vineyard view room - just lovely - beautiful views & nice sunny morning. Our room was quite cold & think the air conditioner may have been a little small for the area it was tryin to warm - we cranked it up to 29c but it never felt very warm - nevertheless not really a complaint! - just a mention. Also there was nowhere to put our luggage in the room - we brought the table from outside in & placed our case on that. There was ample storage in the wardrobes though. Lovely comfortable king size bed with ample bedding - warm & snug. Big soft fluffy white bath towels x four. Breakfast provisions were so very generous with lots of variety - muesli, yogurt, juices & artisan bread with plenty of butter & spreads - we did notice that all the items provided were sourced locally which in it's self is worth a mention. We also received a complimentary bottle of vineyard sparking & white wine - yet to be drunk!! Ate at The Barrel Restaurant on both the Friday & Saturday - Friday relatively quiet but with excellent service provided by the lovely Kate & her 'assistant' (sorry we didn't catch your name). Very informative with the menu her suggestions were taken onboard. Wine with lunch was delicious. Late lunch on Saturday & noticed it was so much busier - larger tables with family & friends. While we had to wait just a little longer, service was still spot on & attentive. I would very much like to thank the Chef on both lunch services - the meals were excellent, fresh & beautifully presented with ample servings & delicious flavours. Just a note but we found the lack of door between bedroom/toilet/shower a little intrusive & the vanity unit, whilst stunning provided form over function eg no room to put any toiletries! All in all we had a super weekend away, lovely people, lovely staff, fantastic chef/s - thank you once again Kate for the lovely chats & laughs!

The room was spacious and beautifully fit out. The bath on the back balcony was a beautiful touch. The breakfast hamper provided was high quality and delicious and even catered for our dietary requirements. The restaurant on site had delicious food and the staff were all fantastic and friendly. The cons of the room was that there was no door to the ensuite meaning there was no privacy, the heater in pod 4 didn’t work very well and despite having it set to 30 we were still cold in the room. Bathrobes for the tub would’ve been a nice touch.

We were really impressed when we first walked in, lovely room and nice view. Then I saw no door on the bathroom/toilet, this is not our style of accommodation. I don't understand no door, I don't get it. Our air conditioner was noisy and over our heads on the bed, which made watching TV hard. There were chairs but they were to low under a high wall mounted TV. The breakfast hamper was excellent, a fantastic collection and catered to my dietary needs. Bed was very comfy. I didn't understand the bath on the balcony idea.
