We arrived at this Hilton location and a staff member told us that we were in the wrong location immediately. We explained that we have a reservation. A second staff member told me that my reservation was not paid even though I showed her the paid receipt. While waiting for the staff member to come back I walked into the lobby cafe area and the staff member would not make eye contact with me and didn’t even say hello. The items are written in Japanese with no English translation. The staff member came back and told me over and over again that it would be a few more minutes. Other people checked in while we sat there feeling ostracized and humiliated. The staff member then told me that takeout food is not available even though it states on their website that it is available. After waiting for almost an hour and a half, we realized that we weren’t welcomed there and we asked for our luggage and drove home. Narisha (front desk staff) told me that we would be given a full refund and that the manager would call me to discuss. It’s now been five hours since we returned home and no one has contacted me. I also checked my account and they charged me $725.36. My family and I feel humiliated and embarrassed and stressed. If they don’t want Americans at this Hilton location then they should say that when we make a reservation. I am disappointed and very embarrassed.
