"Never book with Agoda travel Agents NEVER. We booked at this guesthouse while traveling thru Agoda, the guesthouse replied immediatly that they are fully booked, Agoda ignored the email, and still debit the amount from bank card, we arrived just to find out they fully booked, we were stranded and had to drive in the middle of the night to our next destination. Since the 28 of March 2026 we try to get a refund from Agoda with no luck. I went on facebook and there are litteraly 100 and 100 of people that lost money to Agoda due to this bad service. So please dont make the same mistake and loose money to Agoda scammers. Booking never took place because fulle booked, but i paid for it. Invoice attached"

Der Tagespreis kann jedoch überprüft werden, insbesondere wenn Buchungen direkt bei der Unterkunft vorgenommen werden. Buchungen über Dritte sind viel günstiger als Direktbuchungen, was keinen Sinn ergibt."

The package that we have is for the conference facility/boardroom for two days, refreshments for the 2 days, lunch for the 2 days, as well as, accommodation (bed & breakfast) for myself for 3 nights. The staff at Bains Lodge have always been willing to go above and beyond. From checking in and being welcomed by friendly people in reception, to staying in good and clean rooms, to friendly staff serving you a delicious breakfast in the morning, not to mention the fantastic lunch in the afternoon, I have always been treated as a VIP. Thank you Henrico, Erica, Anja, and all the staff at Bains Lodge for treating me more as a friend that as a mere client."

"It took a while to find this place.. and I was expecting to find a normal house with rooms, but we drove up a long drive and found a huge place. The entrance was big - like walking into someone's living room. It was lovely and the kind lady behind reception gave us a warm welcome after a long long drive. We were shown to our room , which like reception, was huge!! A studio with a large and super comfortable bed, a kitchenette area complete with a small fridge, and a tea/coffee station. There was a small seating area with a sofa and a few comfy chairs and the bathroom had a large walk-in shower with good pressure.. Breakfast the following morning served in the dining room all nicely laid out and so we were ready for our onward journey We enjoyed our stay albeit for one night with much needed sleep and slept like logs.."

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!"

"Accommodation was clean and very spacious. Our little two year old had space to unwind and move arround after 9 hours of traveling. We slept comfortably and safely with hearts at ease. The owner contacted us early, on arrival day to ensure we know where the premises is and how to gain access. In my opinion this was amazing as I always find that I have to contact accommodations to confirm and ask questions- at Finch & Fern this was not needed as the owner is so productive and made contact first. To say I was impressed with the service, communication and accommodation is an understatement. Thank you owners of Finch & Fern Guesthouse, you made our trip easier. "

"I spent a night at this hotel with some family. I have mixed feelings about it. The rooms were clean and good, with a nice bathroom. The interior of the hotel is pretty. The rooftop bar and dining room are good settings. However, my dissatisfaction arose during the meals. The drinks took a while to arrive once we ordered even though the place wasn’t busy. This was confusing since the drinks we ordered wouldn’t take a long time to prepare (e.g. a can of soft drink or a beer). During the meals, we found that we couldn’t order certain things on the menu because the kitchen didn’t have enough stock of it left. We only found this out after ordering and had to take another look at the menu."
