Hampton Inn Raleigh/Durham-Airport

Exactly what I needed. After a sudden and unexpected schedule change, this hotel was a great option. Bed was comfortable, AC worked great. Mary and Latoya were especially warm and helpful when I checked in and really made my day after what was a stressful few hours.

We have stayed at the airport when flying out of Raliegh on several occasions. The staff here are top notch. Latoya at the front desk is professional and always smiling. She is sunshine after a long day of traveling. The shuttle driver is outstanding as well. The rooms are clean and comfortable

There's nothing 'fancy' about this hotel, but it is one of the BEST run Hampton Inns I've ever seen. Very clean. Exceptional staff. Breakfast was outstanding--even the bananas were the proper ripeness. If you're near the Raleigh airport...stay here!

My Husband, Dog and I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was comfortable and no frills. It wasn't fancy by an means, but it worked for us! What was most ideal for us was the fact that the room was dog friendly. Our dog really liked his stay! We also enjoyed the hot breakfast each morning. There is a pool, gym (with Peloton Bikes) and a shuttle to the airport. These are all great perks! The location was great for us to easily access downtown Durham during our stay (about 15 min drive). Please know that this hotel is REALLY close to the airport, and you can constantly hear planes flying overhead. Luckily we were up late and the noise did not disrupt our sleep. Overall it was a nice stay for a good price!

Wonderful location near the airport with a free shuttle and parking (paid, but still a good deal) while you travel. But the best thing about this particular Hampton is the people @the front desk. Big shouts to Latoya and David! Latoya took care of an awkward issue with wisdom and grace. David went the extra mile to personally drive an extra shuttle when the early morning one (4am, ouch!) was overbooked.

This issue is self explanatory and does not require a fifth grade education to understand. It is not argumentative, it is the status quo bedrock and ingrained attitude of professionalism that has gone unchecked at THIS Hampton Inn. ALL the gatekeepers for Hampton did me supreme on June 2, 2023. I had attempted for two days to fly from Denver, CO but experienced setbacks from Southwest and a moving company. Therefore, I finally arrived on June 2, 2023 and checked in for a room at 02:30 a.m. History has taught me that business will ambush you at night with the poorest service they can offer. Yep, you read it right they really do not give a "F" about you because you are vulnerable. Some of them will try to sell you a bucket of "piss" if you buy it. Therefore, anyone would think that after traveling with three large travel bags, two smaller ones, a booster seat, and a five year old ALL you want is just a good night's sleep and please of mind. That is If you believe that the Easter Bunny is coming this Christmas or the sun will rise in the North and set in the South. You are about to READ the worst nightmare you can experience! I have always had high critical views of any company that you see with all high five star ratings and more. We all know that anyone can pay their friends to get a "A" rating from the BBB. If you are not familiar with the BBB companies pay a fee to be listed to advertise their name. Readers might not like what I have to say but I challenge you to review your thinking on ratings and detest any lies from any source about Hampton Inn. I am obligated to research before scrutinizing the actions of others. The fate of others can ultimately be in your hands for others when decisions are rendered for transactions. Upon entering the Hampton Inn room and was just about to JUST lay down after traveling ALL day I was greeted by a black spider. The spider was right at the lower headboard getting ready to strike. Time stood still as I pondered on the primrose path of words and quality that Hampton had advertised but did not deliver. I am sure as long as employees are being rewarded and well feed they don't give a "D" as long as they are being rewarded with their FAT paychecks They will continue to scavenge and pick your pockets like vultures as false advertisers. Now that I have pulled back the curtain exposing the great OZ IT'S LEFT UP TO YOUR CHOOSING! I paid $157.44 for false advertisement coming from fabricators and manipulators After reporting the spider issue I was assigned another room only to be challenged by the on duty check in clerk. He became hostile and I refused to become argumentative. I was assigned to Room 322 but still have to physically carry three large bags. two small ones, booster seat, and a kid. The Hampton Inn gatekeeper showed NO concern about the transactions of the bags. Professional customer service is expected to be rendered as a public servant. There is perhaps no valued and deepl

Hampton Inn is one of my favorite brands. I paid a rate significantly higher than other hotels in the area, since I find Hampton Inn to be a consistently good experience. I didn't have a bad experience, but I also didn't have a great experience. The rooms felt incredibly dated. The only room in the Hilton network I can remember that feels more dated is the DoubleTree Tropicana in Vegas, which is about to be demolished. The bed was also not super comfortable. On the plus side, I got a soda from the lobby and it was very reasonably priced. I ended up taking an Uber rather than the shuttle to RDU, since I was going to have to wait quite a while for the shuttle (I had a very early morning flight, and the shuttle doesn't run until 4AM). If the price is competitive and you are a Hilton loyalist, it is fine, but I wish I had gone with one of the cheaper options in the neighborhood.

Very friendly staff. Real fast shuttle service from airport to hotel. Clean room, huge breakfast. Walking distance to other restaurants. Recommended. Despite being relatively close to the airport, rooms quiet enough for a good night s sleep.

Christy Holden at the front desk was so helpful and willing to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. She had a friendly personality and a professional manner. We look forward to staying at this hotel again!
