Wohltuend nach 20 Stunden Flug. Zimmer nagelneu und sauber. Selbst das Standard Zimmer ruhig gelegen mit Balkon und Sitzgelegenheit. Sogar Europastecker! Das Essen sehr gut und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Man darf das 5 Sternehotel nicht mit Europa vergleichen. Hier ist man in Afrika. Werde es auf jeden Fall wieder buchen"

"Auf dem Weg zum Krüger-Nationalpark haben wir die letzte Nacht im Bushveld Terrace Hotel verbracht. Nach einem freundlichen Empfang wurden wir in unsere Zimmer gebracht, die geräumig und sehr komfortabel waren, mit einem großen Badezimmer mit separater Badewanne und Dusche – wunderbar! Das Abendessen war lecker und die Speisekarte bot eine große Auswahl. Einziger Kritikpunkt war der billige Fernseher in unserem Zimmer. Er war zu klein und das Bild sehr unscharf. Ein Hotel dieser Art sollte eine deutlich größere Senderauswahl bieten. Davon abgesehen haben wir aber bereits einen erneuten Besuch in fünf Wochen gebucht."

"the Location was great and the restaurant staff were friendly and provided us good service, which is unfortunately the two positive parts of our stay. when we arrive, the reception experience was very poor. No Information was given about the lodge or breakfast until I asked, and we were not even accompanied to our room. The condition of the room was disappointing. The shower and floors were dirty to the point where you could not shower without wearing flip flops. Housekeeping was also below standard. During our 2-night stay, the room was not properly cleaned, the bins were not emptied, dishes were not washed properly and both the bathroom and floors remained dirty. Only the beds were made. This was a very disappointing experience."

"Diese Lodge ist unmöglich. Wir hatten mit der Familie zwei Häuschen gebucht, erhielten furchtbares Zimmer, ohne Freisitz, ohne Möbel. Das Zimmer hatte nicht den Stand einer Jugendherberge. Bitte niemals buchen, auch wenig Tiere. Keine zusätzlichen Veranstaltungen wie in anderen Lodges. Armselig, stundenlange Fahrt ohne irgend ein Vieh zu sehen. Wir waren schon oft in Lodges, z.B. Pinda, etc. so etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt."

"Ich war bereits das zweite Mal hier, und komme vor allem zum Entspannen, am Ende meines Urlaubes hierhin. Die wunderschöne , bis ins Detail liebevoll gestaltete Lodge, die herzliche Atmosphäre, der tolle Service und das fantastische Essen lassen einen hier sehr gut runter kommen und keine Wünsche offen. In diesem Zusammenhang ist auch das Spa sehr empfehlenswert. Von der Lodge aus sind der Krüger Nationalpark ,die Drakensberge, der Blyde River Canyon quasi vor der Haustür. Ich hoffe für Ruan, dass er bald seine Lizenz als Ranger für den Krüger Park erhält und wieder das tun kann, was seine Leidenschaft ist: fotografieren und auf Safari gehen. in beidem ist er ein Profi. Die wunderschönen Tierbilder in der Lodge hat er übrigens selbst gemacht So haben wir ihn kennen in einer anderen Safari Lodge gelernt. Jenny, seine Frau, ist eine Perfektionistin in Sachen Stil, Ambiente, Ordnung und Sauberkeit, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Beide zusammen reißen sich wirklich ein Bein aus, um den Aufenthalt dort unvergesslich zu machen. Muunga Bush Lodge - einfach zu schade nur für eine Nacht."

"Ich konnte ein ruhiges Wochenende im Safari Moon buchen und schreibe dies von meiner Sonnenliege aus, da ich (schweren Herzens) in ein paar Stunden abreise. Ich war in der Leopardensuite und habe von meinem Balkon aus Warzenschweine, Affen und Nyalas beobachtet. Alles an diesem Ort strahlt dezenten Luxus aus. Das Personal ist ausnahmslos freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und köstlich. Die 3-Gänge-Menüs am Abend sind ebenfalls köstlich und werden auf Bestellung zubereitet. Wenn Sie nach einem erholsamen Urlaub mitten im Herzen von Hoedspruit suchen, ist Safari Moon für mich die perfekte Wahl."

"We had a brilliant time. We were treated like royalty the entire time. On arrival you with greeted with cold towel and juice. We checked in at 3:30pm and were able to do our first safari drive at 4:30 so we’re delighted. The welcome staff member shows you around the lodge and to your room which is a nice touch. The room was luxurious. Some reviews question this, I would say to remind yourself you are in South Africa. Their version of luxury is different to western modern luxury. The room was clean and had so much African charm. The shower featured a stone fall which was weird but we grew to love it. Feels like you are outside. The pool area was nice. Staff are very friendly and charming. There are 2 Safari drives included during your stay. 5:30am and 4:30pm. We were introduced to our guide and tracker on our first ride out. Ours were Charlie and James. You ride out with the same team and same guests every time which we loved because you build a relationship with the guides and guests. We made friends with the other guests making it a lovely experience. They have a 2 car only policy when looking at animals. If there are other cars wanting to look they have to wait. It seems they care about their wild animals and give them space. This is probably why we saw them all. We saw all of the big 5 twice in 4 days. Our daily schedule was like this, Woken up 5am Coffee at 5:15am Safari start 5:30am Back for breakfast 9am 10am - 13:30 you have to yourself. We went to the pool. Some guests slept we think. 13:30 lunch 14:30 we showered and got ready for evening Safari 15:30meet for safari. 16:00 Safari ride out. 19:30 dinner 20:30 drinks with out other guests in our car. 22:00 bed. We were knackered We had a fabulous time and didn’t want to go home. Thank you to all the team."

"We have just left a 4 night stay at Karongwe River Lodge residing in one of the two Presidential Suites. Everything was outstanding - the accommodation, food, service, attention to detail but most importantly the game drives!! Our driver and tracker were incredible, doing everything in their power to ensure that we saw every possible animal safely and in comfort. We spent 2 hours tracking lions and found a whole beautiful pride. It was so exciting and fun! We saw the big 5 and so many others and felt so lucky. I have not been to other game reserves but could not recommend this one highly enough. The lodge and facilities are beautiful as is the whole reserve."

"Kingfisher Creek is a phenomenal lodge with the best staff you could ask for. We felt extremely welcomed and looked after through the entirety of our 4 night stay. Annie was so kind, friendly, and beyond helpful in arranging and organising all of our activities and went above and beyond to make sure we were having a great stay. There's a reason she has been called superwoman; it's abundantly clear that Annie takes great pride in her job, the lodge, and making sure her guests feel at home. The location is great and close enough for arranging game drives and excursions in nearby areas such as nearby big 5 reserves, Kruger National Park, and Blyde. But we also enjoyed the guided walk within the reserve and being shown the different tracks left behind by animals like impala, giraffe, and hyenas. The accommodation is fabulous and has everything you need to feel comfortable. Our room was perfect for a couple. The outdoor shower was also a real highlight. Everything was conveniently close to the main restaurant, lounge, and pool; despite being in the room closest to the lobby, we still felt like we had enough privacy. It was a dream to also hear lions and hyenas calling during the nights. The food cooked by Nikiwe was spectacular - she truly is a talented chef and it genuinely felt like 5 star dining. We were amazed each night and at each breakfast with the choices, quality of food, and felt contently well fed every day - there was not a single night where we went to bed hungry! Additionally, Annie and Nikiwe pulled out all the stops to cater for a vegan dietary requirement for one of us, which was really appreciated. All of the wait staff were also wonderful and added to the enjoyable experience we had. The setting is cosy with an open fire, surrounded by bush, seeing monkeys and Nyala every day, and it felt surprisingly remote which we loved. We wish we could keep it as our own little hidden gem, but it would be too selfish to not recommend staying at Kingfisher! We were incredibly relaxed the whole holiday and when you visit for yourself, you'll really get to see what made us fall in love with Kingfisher Creek. It's not to be missed and once you're there we're sure you won't want to leave! We will certainly be coming back many many more times in the future (we started planning our next visit before we'd even left)! Thank you Annie & all of the Kingfisher staff! "Eine nette kleine Unterkunft. Wir hatten die Honeymoon-Suit, leider hat in dieser die separate Toilette unglaublich modrig gestunken. Ansonsten ist es eine nette Unterkunft mitten in einem Reservat zahmer Tiere, so das regelmäßig Antilopen, Affen oder Wildscheine von der Terrasse zu beobachten waren. Leider war der gewünschte Game Drive schon ausgebucht (hier macht es vielleicht Sinn, sowas vorher zu buchen) aber die Alternative Tour 11 h in den Krüger Nationalpark war sehr gut, wenn auch anstrengend auf Grund der Länge und des Beginns um 4:35 Uhr."
