Plenty of room for the five of us. Lobby was clean and well-lit. Check-in was smooth and desk clerk was very friendly and engaging. Room was clean and cooled down quickly. We had plenty of towels and space to spread out. Breakfast was hot and plentiful, and the bacon was nice and crispy!! Pool was clean and not overly-chlorinated. For women/families who are traveling, the hotel and the immediate area around the hotel seemed well-lit and safe, but if you venture out very far, it does get a little rough. Lots of restaurants and fast food options within walking distance, but driving may be the safer option.

First, the good stuff: Room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was the standard not-too-tasty-but-free buffet. The not-great stuff: This is one of the hotels that went to not cleaning the room every day. I didn't see the signage about that until later, so I was surprised to come into the room and see it not made up. The bad stuff that made me give it a poor review was that on our second night, things just started falling apart in our room. A hook on the bathroom holding a small dopp kit fell off the wall when we put a towel on it. While my kid was in the shower, a piece of the tile fell off. We just looked at each other and said ”We gotta get out of here!” Luckily that happened the morning we were leaving anyway.

The hotels general manager, Patel, made everything from checking in to checking out miserable. I work for Marriott. I know that the Marriott standard is to treat every guest like family. The goal is to make people want to come back. Her customer service skills are subpar, and if she doesn’t know how to treat another Marriott employee and their family, who showed nothing but kindness, I hate to think how she treats her employees that shes’s actually in charge of. Based on what I hear, it’s not well. The front desk employee, Liz, runs the place like a well oiled machine and should replace Patel immediately. She treats everyone who walks in the door like her best friend. She is the only reason I didn’t take my money elsewhere. And there are PLENTY of hotels within 5 miles of that place. As for the hotel itself, there’s not much to complain about. The hotel is clean and quiet. Breakfast is adequate. The rooms seem to be kept up. It’s probably the only reason, that and Liz, that people stay there. When you manage a hotel, you need to always keep in mind your guests are there for a variety of reasons. I had a sudden death in the family and had to fly home for a funeral. The last thing I needed to worry about was management treating my family members checking in with disrespect. And the last thing any of us needed at such a sensitive time was front desk staff taking out their lack of customer service skills on us. You never know what people are going through. Being nice to paying guests, and greeting them with a smile isn’t hard to do. The general manger could really use some training on how to run a hotel and to gain some people skills. She’s obviously miserable and you can clearly see on the faces of the employees that her lack of enthusiasm for the people who stay there is wearing thin the tolerance the staff has for the guests and their needs. It’s only a matter of time before people take their money elsewhere.

I had another great stay I stayed three days and I am very pleased with the mgr and the room day it was a pleasant experience for me and very affordable when I come to Norman, Moore and OKC once a month from texas I would recommend this Super 8 on Moore Oklahoma

Mein Mann und ich hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Front-Desk-Personal ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und die Betten sind perfekt. Wir werden sicher zurückgehen.

Das Zimmer selbst war gut, neben dem Rauchalarm, das ausging, als der Dampf aus der Dusche, die ich genommen habe, ausging. Ich konnte erst nach der Dusche zu ihm kommen, und es ging für die meisten Zeit aus. Es gab Autos im Parkplatz, die super laut Musik spielen, und es gab einen Mann außerhalb meines Fensters, der auf seinem Auto von ca. 3 bis ca. 7 Uhr arbeitet. Ich werde nicht wieder auf dieser Stelle bleiben, ziemlich enttäuschend.
