This hotel is was an absolute catastrophe! After check-in we went to our allocated hotel room only to discover a horrible smell and in general just a disgusting room; the bedsheet was covered with stains, a horrible smell (this was not only in the hotel room) and mold in the bedroom and toilet area. We had paid for 3 nights and 6 times breakfast, and according to *********** app if was possible to cancel the booking before 18:00. We went down to the receptionist (at 17:30) after we had stayed for around 30 minutes in the room and said, that we wanted a refund due to the room being disgusting and looking nothing like the pictures. The receptionist told us to use the refund button in the app so they could refund us, but as soon as we pushed the refund button, we (apparently) disappeared from their system and a refund was no longer possible. Then we contacted the manager at the hotel. According to the manager a refund of any sort was NOT possible. Since the manager only knew French and was not willing to help with our situation at all we contacted ***********. Nearly a month after the incident we were refunded for 2 nights and 6 times breakfast, leaving us paying around 100 euros for staying 30 minutes in the hotel room AND according to *********** the hotel had charge an extra amount (around 50 euro) more than they should. However, this we can not verify ourselves due to the hotel being unable to print our receipt. For obvious reasons we did request a receipt but that was NOT possible. Anyhow, several weeks later and after spending numerous hours on the telephone we were compensated for about 70% of the charged amount.
