The Quality Inn in Ashland, OH is terrible. The hallways smell bad and the carpet is stained. When we got into our room the bed spread was stained and again it smelled bad. The management team is very confrontational and seems to delight in telling you they can't help and that they will charge the full amount if you leave. We did leave. My two kids were both gagging and being impossible. After a long drive, we just need something at the lowest end of acceptable. This is not it. If you look at the way the managers respond to reviews on google, it is petty and rude. They take no accountability for their hotel and they delight in confrontation. I called the next day to speak to a manager. The person who answered said the manager was not in, and then hung up on me after telling me he wouldn't refund my money. Which was odd, because he wasn't the manager and supposedly "couldn't return my money." We did not stay for more than 20 minutes. Just a terrible hotel. We asked for a refund and didn't get it, and have called our credit card company to dispute the charge. Terrible hotel, terrible staff and terrible service.
