A beautiful ecological hotel located in a very nice environment amidst rice paddies. The food was excellent, very delicious, although I may say too much. Both nights we stayed there , it was virtually impossible to finish the food offered. The personnel very well trained, always smiling and very accommodating to our needs. The pool magnificent set in a beautiful and very tranquil environment.

Wir haben einen Nachmittag und eine Nacht im Centauria Wild verbracht und fanden es sehr gut: Die Nähe zum Nationalpark. Das durchweg freundliche Personal. Das grosse, saubere Zimmer. Den Pool mit ausreichender Anzahl Liegen. Die Bar mit TV, Pool und Schachbrett. Das Abendbuffet. Alles prima. Kleinen Abzug würden wir für das verwaiste (aber begehbare) Rooftop und die Wartehallenatmosphäre im Restaurant geben. (Wir hatten für einen Lunchsnack schon im Restaurant Platz genommen und bestellt - haben uns dann aber das Essen aufs Zimmer kommen lassen, was überhaupt gar kein Problem war). Also insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden wieder hier buchen.

Wir kamen im April 2024 für einen kurzen Besuch aus Neuseeland nach SL und besuchten das Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, dann übernachteten wir mit einer anderen Familie im Thuduwa Camp. Es war eine wunderbare Erfahrung für unsere Familien zusammen an einem friedlichen und doch attraktiven Ort. Wir buchten zwei Dreierzimmer, eines als eigenständige Familieneinheit und ein weiteres, das zu einem Viererzimmer umgebaut wurde. Die Zimmer waren einfach, aber großartig geräumig eingerichtet, die Badezimmer waren großartig und auch sauber. Ich kann nicht umhin zu erwähnen, wie köstlich das Essen war. Wir hatten gebratenen Reis, Hühnchen gefüllt, Gemüse-Chopsuey, Zwiebel- und Tomatensalat und Chilipaste zum Abendessen. Wir liebten es, so köstlich und die Kinder aßen unentwegt weiter. Uns wurden viele Optionen zum Frühstück angeboten, wir machten Halt bei String Hoppers, rotem Reis, Fisch-Curry, Kokosnuss-Sambol (das beste, das ich in SL hatte), Dhaal-Curry und temperiertem Kartoffel-Chili (wieder das beste, das ich in SL hatte), es hat uns so gut geschmeckt und war außergewöhnlich. Besonders hervorzuheben sind Iroshan und Hasaranga, die sich so gut um uns gekümmert haben, sehr professionell und fürsorglich waren. Nochmals vielen Dank, Jungs. Macht weiter so!! Überraschend tolles Essen zum Frühstück,lunch und Dinner und Teatime super serviert von einem freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Mann. Alle Teller waren leer und es wurde u.a. ein schmackhaftes Barbeque angeboten. Das Essen bekommt 5 Sterne. Auch das Personal im Camp ist sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit, die Betten auch überraschend gut für ein Zelt.Zelte sind sauber ohne Tiere, lediglich die Sanitäranlagen im Zelt sind gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Dusche war OK, ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und ich fand es roch etwas modrig und die Toilette funktionierte nicht so wirklich gut .Auf meine Bitte würde sie sofort repariert.Fur eine Nacht kann man es dort gut aushalten.Ich bin halt nicht wirklich ein Campingfan, es ist aber wirklich gut gemacht dort
