Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch George, hat uns mit dem wichtigsten Infos zur Insel versorgt, war auch sonst immer erreichbar und um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Nos Hotel & Villas

"Our fav hotel of the trip (out of 6!)! This is a really special place and hope to return. Room = Faros the Superior - I highly recommend! ▪ Pro: • Room modern and well done with some neat design touches. Had AC that actually worked! • Our room had a great patio and plunge pool looking over the cove of Faros. I loved the view and both sun and shade loungers were so comfortable! • 5 minute walk to 3 different beaches, each with places to eat. o Note: They beaches are semi ‘scrappy’ compared to what we may be used to in the IS. ie: they aren’t maintained with someone clearing rocks/branches but are pretty in their own way. • 5 minute walk to several water front places to eat. • Neat outdoor gym! • Has a sauna at the spa! Also great food & staff! ▪ Con: • The 5-minute walk in both directions to the local beaches is a walk along a road with both nice villas and abandoned construction, so not the most picturesque. Really just saying this to list a con. • The view of the pool is slightly interrupted by a villa further down the sloop on the cliff edge. • The spa is fully outside so not something to do if the weather is bad, which is too bad bc that’s part of the glory of a spa day on vacation. Also, the Sauna is next to the treatment space so a guest can’t use the Sauna if someone is getting a treatment. They should have put it in the gym!"

Elements Sifnos Boutique

"Sifnos Elements has 6 rooms, 3 by the pool and 3 a little below. All rooms have private terraces with tables. Rodoula, the manager, is an absolute gem. She helped me coordinate my visit, the cars, breakfast, local attractions, and even offered me a late checkout when I asked if I could hang by the pool for a little while. A+ hospitality My room was clean and modern, with a very comfortable bed. I was able to mostly block out the light, and slept like a rock every night. Super quiet - just the wind :) The breakfast is amazing! There’s a full menu, which you can call or WhatsApp text in advance, along with the time you’d like to eat. Other than breakfast, there’s a few “light bites”, wine and beer available later in the day. I did rent a car for a day and coordinated a pickup from the ferry. The process was very easy - I emailed in advance and voila. The cars are in great shape and very clean. You pick up and return at the hotel (you’ll need to fill up before returning, but there’s a gas station about 10 minutes away). I am a very confident driver and had no issues - the roads are well marked and in great shape unless you get really off the main areas. My google maps worked perfectly everywhere I drove, and the other drivers are polite. A warning (although what follows is part of why I picked Sifnos, so I don’t think it’s a negative, but just FYI). The hotel is a little isolated - it’s not in a town or village. There is no “restaurant” at or near the hotel. If you arrive late and aren’t renting a car, pick something up in the port or bring dinner. I ended up eating the cheese plate for dinner (which I love so no complaints - my ideal dinner actually) but if you’re expecting a full meal, make sure you coordinate a car. There are taxis on the island but not many, so I’m not sure how their availability is. That said, there is a very well maintained path to Faros, which has a beautiful beach and some great restaurants. I would suggest sneakers, and there is some elevation, but the path has shallow steps (NOT ideal for a baby stroller etc) and brings you right to the beach. Maybe 20 minutes? I had diner in Faros and walk back up in the dark - I brought a flashlight with me, and I would not recommend walking back at night without one. Excellent stay and I’ll be back! As an FYI, I traveled as a solo female traveler and felt very safe. I didn’t see much of the other guests, so if you’re looking to make friends, head to the bars in Faros! "We arrived early on the day of check in but the owner let us leave our bags at reception and he called the car rental company to drop off a car for us. We connected via What’s App and he let us know when our room was ready. They hand deliver breakfast to you every morning in a cute basket with a ton of food. Very delicious! He also gave us giant bottles of water everyday, which you need on the island since the water is not potable. There was one evening we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room and he came by to let us in. Very kind!! He gave us recommendations for food and beaches and always made sure we had everything we needed. The cleaning staff even room our wet laundry out to dry. Definitely would recommend staying here if you rent a car or transportation. It is not walkable to the port or any nearby city or beach but a great quiet place to stay. "

Coralli Seaside Resort

"We stayed for 8 nights here B and B. Bed comfy and good shower and cleaners in every day. Lovely location with beautiful beach a stones throw away with free sun beds. Now the bad bit …… breakfast is not a nice experience. Each morning you are asked to choose from a clip board what you would like for breakfast, omelette or scrambled eggs , then you have a choice of two toasties , a croissant and cheap Greek yogurt with tin fruit. You are given a buzzer and when summoned you collect your breakfast from the counter and this continued for 8 days. One of our party asked for toast instead of a toastie and was told it would be an extra 3 euros. Also beach bar very expensive ( one mojito and a Greek beer 18.5 euros ) so avoided the rest of time. We loved the location but breakfast is not a nice experience."

"Simply a perfect location for a visit to beautiful Sifnos. The rooms, the pool, the food and the hosts are all first rate! Have stayed here three times now. Enjoy access to all the island from this mid-point. Walk to towns at night. Will be back as soon as possible. Thanks Margarita and George!"

"Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt hier für 3 Nächte im August. Es war eine ausgezeichnete Basisort für die Erforschung von Milos. Die Einheit funktionierte gut für unsere Familie von 4 (2 Erwachsenen und 2 Jugendlichen). Wir genossen wirklich das Frühstück, das jeden Morgen an unserem Patio geliefert wurde. Großer Weg zum Beginn des Tages. Die Einheit war in der Spazierweiterung zu den Restaurants - wir hatten ein Auto, aber beschlossen, jeden Abend zum Abendessen zu gehen. Aris war ein großer Gastgeber und nimmt wirklich stolz auf seine Eigenschaft und war super hilfreich mit Vorschlägen und Empfehlungen. Der kleine Pool am Patio war auch ein schöner Weg, nach einem Tag der Erforschung zu entspannen. Wir empfehlen diesen Ort für Ihre Zeit in Milos. Danke nochmals für Ihre Gastfreundschaft, Aris!!!"

"Das Hotel ist wirklich gut im Herzen der Stadt, was sehr praktisch ist. Im Gegensatz zu dem Zimmer, das auf der Straße war ein wenig laut. Das Zimmer ist ziemlich geräumig und das Bett ziemlich komfortabel. Das Wellnessraum ist jedoch ein kleines Problem auf der italienischen Dusche, deren Wasser einen großen Teil des Bäderbodens nassfließt. Das Pool ist passabel und sollte renoviert werden. Das Frühstück ist richtig, aber der Raum ist im Vergleich zu den Menschen ein wenig klein. Die Dekoration zum Thema Meer ist ein bisschen gekommen. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität ist nicht schlecht, wenn man nur auf dem Gasthof ankommt und nicht auf dem Aufzug. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war im Großen und Ganzen richtig, aber es ist nicht das beste Hotel, in dem wir verblieben haben."

"Fantastic experience from start to finish. A truly magical few days with incredible service, friendly assistance, delicious food and a luxurious yet cozy atmosphere everywhere. Special mention to Dionisis who could not have been more welcoming and professional as well as all staff members, especially during the breakfast service. We will be back for sure."

Santa Maria Luxury Suites & Spa

"Such a special place in a great location near the port, but very private. A 10 minute walk to either a beach or downtown restaurants & shopping. It was nice to have a car to explore the island for a day or two, but not needed to get around this Port area. Staff could not have been more helpful - anything we needed for the room or transportation was handled immediately. Front desk was amazing! Pool area was lovely & welcomed after a busy day. The only drawback was the bar - although poolside & pretty, they were quite frugal with their 'pours' and yet expensive. BYOB perhaps? We were in the suites, so instead of a buffet, we were able to order anything we wanted for breakfast. That was the best, homemade fresh food enjoyed on our terrace with an oceanview! We would definitely return to this pretty place."
